A couple AKL CL & Safari questions...

1.) How early, or how long before your trip, did a CM from AKL CL contact you? Or did you have to contact them?

2.) Does anyone know far in advance you can book the Sunrise Safari? I'm assuming it's 180 days, but I don't want to be wrong.

3.) Is the breakfast after the safari still at Tusker House?

I booked in August (for our April trip). Don emailed me within a couple weeks just to introduce himself, say hello. I then sent him my "wish list" of ADRs and plans. In Oct (180 days) CL (not done) called me to confirm my CC# for when they called to do my ADRs. About a week later I got an email confirming all my ADRs and plans.

Safari booked at the 180 day point, same as ADRs.

I've had breakfast at Tusker House this past summer. But they've since redone it some, not sure how. We're looking forward to it. Well I am.. DD has no idea about any of this.

Thank you for your help! Did you get all the ADRs you requested? I'm a little nervous about giving it to someone else to do, especially with having to wait a week to hear back from them confirming.

Just an FYI, it's against DIS rules to mention a CM by name.

AKL concierge did not contact me, I didn't give them the time. I emailed them as soon as I made my reservation. They can make your ADR's before the 180 mark (unless it's recently changed).

I made our sunrise safari reservation only a couple months prior. I had no problem getting in. Our b/fast was not at Tusker house becuase it was closed for renovation (Aug). I think the plan is to move it back when it's reopened. Nevertheless, our b/fast was 1st class! They served the same food (lots and lots of variety). The Chef came out to tell us about the dishes and inquired if there were any allergies which would require a specially prepared dish.

I never waited a week. You can just call them. They will make the adr's while you are on the phone. I don't have the #, but I'm sure some other nice diser does.
