Hi everyone!
I am determined to complete a trip report. I'm on here everyday again, as we are now planning a cruise, but I digress...

My name is Taryn, and our trip was from December 27th-January 5th. We started at the Contemporary with a Magic Kingdom view, and then moved over to POP.

Let me intro. you to our entire cast!

My family--me, DH, DD5, DD3
Inlaws--Gma, Gpa
SIL, her DH, Dniece10, Dnephew4
BIL, SIL

So we were a group of 12 total.
Here we are:

We had a great adventure, and experienced many firsts this trip, including, but not limited to:
*renting out the Grand 1 Yacht!
*private portrait session at the Poly
*new food experiences
*NYE at DHS
*staying in a deluxe

Unfortunately, we live near Philadelphia, and were expecting a HUGE snowstorm on Sunday the 26th. We were to leave early Monday morning. I was taking NO CHANCES on missing a flight or being delayed, etc!
Sooooooooooo, we rented a car Sunday morning, beat the snow, drove 6 hours to Pittsburgh, and got a 6 a.m. flight Monday morning! Southwest was GREAT about changing our flight. We had to pay about $100 difference total and that was fine! My SIL and her family were to be on our same original flight, and her DH refused to budge with trying to plan something alternate, and they weren't able to get to Disney until later on Tuesday.

Here are our girls in these adorable t-shirts I made using a Disign from here on the boards. I apologize, I don't remember exactly who it was, as we made several!

This was at 3 in the morning, and they actually did quite well! I was expecting grumpies, but they were GREAT!

Our plane landed, and we were at the Contemporary by 9:30 a.m.! We went right up to the Contempo Cafe to get some breakfast, and were hoping our room would be ready so we could freshen up a bit, but it wasn't.

This was our breakfast:

This was the ham, egg, and cheese on some kind of bread. It hit the spot after a long morning.

We had rented a double stroller from Magic Strollers and it was already at the resort, so that was great. The concierge even put it together for us.

We headed over to MK. We walked and it only took about 10 minutes to reach the gates. The weather was FREEZING! Mid 30s I believe. I've never been to Disney when I wasn't sweating my butt off so it was a nice change!

Right as we were entering, the 11 a.m. parade was starting, so it was the perfect start to our day. We had NO expectations this day, as we weren't even due to arrive until after noon, and were not planning on going to a park.
(We did join TGM for planning purposes and I highly recommend for if nothing else, the Least Crowded Parks Charts!) This was the second time we used him and were pleasantly surprised how well it worked during this busy week.

So we watched the parade and then just leisurely made our way around until lunch time. We didn't do anything that had a line.
