A Chicago style DIS meet warmup--Pictures

<p><b>Well, what better way to get ready for a Chicago DIS meet than to have a
pre-meet!!!!  And what better way to do a pre-meet in Chicago than to have
it at a Chicago style pizza place like Gino's East, a great Chicago
standby. </b></p>

<p><b>One of the early arrivals, or should I say two, were Bunchkin (Nicole) and
her 12 week old little guy, Hunter!!!</b></p>

<p><b>And soon after, the DIS area was getting filled with DIS'ers.

<p><b>DG ordered her long awaited salad, and it came wrong, some cheese on it I
think.  It went back to the kitchen, and for a time, DG had to stare at
these two salad dressing bowls.  She was going to see if she could get a
third, to make a hidden Mickey to pass the time.</b></p>

<p><b>And finally the pizza!!!  Sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, plain cheese!</b></p>

<p><b>And able and friendly service from our waiter, Andy.  He now likes
Disney, I think.</b></p>

<p><b>While taking a picture of this moose head (just thought I would interrupt
my meal a bit, LOL) I noticed a familiar shape in the left foreground from the
light fixture.</b></p>

friendship shared, along with many laughs.  A great way to warm up for the

Awesome, Dan. I most certainly did enjoy these pics. Looks like it was a great warm up meet! But hey... you weren't in any of them! Hopefully somebody "stole" your camera today and snapped some of you or else that's just no fair.

Forgive me for my lack of knowledge of Chicago pizza, LOL, but is the cheese on the bottom and the sauce on top? <font size=1>Isn't that backwards? </font>

Such a fun time, this was....great finally meeting some "long-time" DIS friends and other new faces as well as seeing familiar faces again. The DIS family is forever growing I am so glad I made the last minute decision to make the long-distance trip out here....so worth it! ....and I didn't have to wait for DIS CON to finally meet December99 and KimRaye

DUH, LOL, Bunchkin, how on earth could I miss that?!?!?! Maybe I have seen too many pizzas in my many years, or maybe the late hour I was putting these up, after two days of DIS meets.
