Even though I'm 23 I love meeting the characters. Here is my tip:
Best Way to Meet Characters: Character Meals
Worst Way to Meet Characters: The long, hap-hazard lines that fill when a few select characters make an appearance in front of the Sorcer Hat at MGM several times a day. The leave like 20-30 minutes after they come out with *many* people at the back of the line *very* disappointed.
Another okay way is standing in line at que area already set up like seeing Mickey and friends in toontown fair or Mikey & Sulley near New York St.
Just an observation I made this weekend and I thought I would pass it along. I have done Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare...I liked the latter better, but I'm biased b/c Alice in Wonderland is hands-down my favorite character.
