How cool and AMAZING!
Loved reading the article! Your girls are both destined to be more than just talented but great! They have the artistic talent on both sides of the family!
Nini
Yes, it's pretty cool. Josh's grandfather was a very talented man.
Wow D! What an inspiration! You are beautiful and look so healthy!

Thank you Ann! I just keep plugging along, I figure that someday I will get where I want to be... I am getting closer, but I still have a lot of work to get done.
Just caught up on your trip report. The airport run in must have been so exciting! I love seeing all of your bags online and I even found myself searching around waiting in lines and such for your bags

It was so exciting! Like nothing I've ever experienced before! It's so amazing to see people love what you make and use it. Surprisingly, I don't really look for my stuff - I should, but I don't. Did you see any?
What an amazing transformation.
Thank you! It's been a wonderful journey so far. It's kind of weird to think I've been doing this for 2.5 years, it doesn't seem that long. LOL
You look great and you did it without starving yourself.
Yes! I think that is key... I see so many people looking for the quick fix (my included, when I first started) - but it didn't take me long to realize I didn't want the quick fix this time - I wanted it to be real and sustaining. Which is why I work so hard every day, making a point to only do and eat what I love.
Sounds like you had a nice weekend. The transformation from 2012 is huge. You've done a great job.
On Friday my friend and I decided that we wanted to drive 251 miles to visit one of his sisters and of course geocache on the way from Saturday to Sunday. On the way to his sister in Northern Sweden we found 1 geocache in 3 different countries (Norway, Sweden and Finland) Today we took some caches on the way home and drove a different way home so it was 302 miles to drive home.
When we came to his sister we had Surströmming (Swedish for "soured herring"). My friend and his sister loves it. I don't (it is fermented Baltic sea herring and is a staple of traditional northern Swedish cuisine since at least the 16th century) I ate a little just to please my friend and then I had a beef.
WOW!!! Sounds like you had afun weekend! I would not be able to eat the soured herring... YIKES!!! I really don't like fish all that much - except for salmon... I would have eaten the beef too. LOL
Wow what an amazing transformation!!! You should be very proud of yourself and I imagine you feel incredible.
Thank you! I still consider myself a work in progress... I'd like to change my body composition a little more and go down a couple more sizes... I'd really love to be at my goal size by next summer - but as long as I am going the right direction, it doesn't matter how long it takes me. I do feel great... I feel younger than I have ever felt in my life - even when I was young. LOL
The before and after photo is amazing! I'm so proud of you! You are a true inspiration!
How cool about the Twins logo!! That's so awesome! Your pics are adorable you've been posting from the game.
Thanks! I just keep plugging along... Still a ways to go - but I am happy with the progress so far... Especially when I find pictures like that. Victoria and Allison were both SHOCKED that photo was me... They don't ever remember me looking like that.
Yes, it is cool - Josh's grandfather was a talented man!
Hi D,
I just finished a few of your other TR's last week and now am excited to start this one. Fellow MN dis member here! Your weight loss is inspiring but your positive personality shines through either way!
Looking forward to more posts!
We are checking into POFQ for a girls trip in about 65 days!
Hi there! Welcome! I hope you've enjoyed reading my other TRs.
Thank you - I enjoy sharing my journey to inspire others.
OOOH - I love girls trips! YOu will have a blast - and FQ is just the BEST! You must have Santos make your beignets!
So happy to hear you had a good time on your trip.
Its nice that you've gotten to spend time with BMT. Its too bad they live so far away but how cool that you are going to get to go there to visit them!
WOW! What a difference between your then & now photo! You look so healthy and AWESOME!
A little update: I just got back from being with DD. She had surgery to remove the cancer. The pathology report came back that they got all of it removed. Just to be safe, they implanted seeds that give a constant low-dose of radiation. These seeds have must less side effects than traditional radiation. This was originally developed for prostate cancer but now they've branched out into other forms of cancer. They will remove these seeds in about 4 months. Thank you to everyone who had her in your thoughts.
When I got home from being with DD, my DH had a little package gift wrapped for me sitting on my bed. I opened it, and I found some paper that he had drawn himself that looked like tickets to Disney World. I was confused to say the least because DH lost his job in February and there is no way we could afford to go on a trip without him having a job. Then it dawned on me he got a job AND we are going to WDW!

WOO HOO!!! I am SO excited! We are leaving in one month so I am going to be super busy making our matching outfits, headpieces, purses and jewelry.
Looking forward to hearing all about your trip! I'm glad to be following along.
I am so happy and so relieved to see your post this morning - I've been so worried about your dd, praying for her and wondering how she is doing. What a relief to hear that the surgery went well!
I am also VERY excited that you have a trip coming up - you and your DH deserve it!!! How wonderful! And congrats to DH and his new job!!!
I am just so happy and relieved to read your entire post - thank you so much for stopping by to update us... I know that many of us had you and your family in our prayers these last few weeks.
Your family visits sound really fun. I'm so glad you have this chance to really get to know Thomas and his mommy! Good for you for getting your work outs in!
I don't know if you read about my latest venture on my ptr or not, but it has been keeping me busy. I manage FB more frequently than the DIS. But I really do enjoy getting caught up when I get the chance. I haven't been to bed yet and it's 3:30 AM right now, so i guess this is as good a time as any.
Love all the pics of your family fun and can't wait to read all about your trip once you get your photos the way you want them. Unfortunately, I will be getting behind again when we leave for our trip in two days. I don't get online while I'm in Disney. I may post a few pics on FB, but I'm not very good at that. Meanwhile, I hope you continue to have a fun time with your family and get lots done in your sewing room.
Yes - we are so fortunate to have this time with all of them!
I did not... need to get over there and see what you've been up to. I still feel like I am slacking -as we have been going non-stop since we have been home from our trip. It will be nice when things settle down again!
Have fun on your trip!!! I am so very excited for all of you!

We had a really fun day at the game yesterday! We had great seats with a great view of Minnie and Paul. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves... It was a bright sunny day with not a cloud in the sky. When we purchased the tickets, we tried to get seats in the shade, but that didn't work out too well for us... Sigh. But we still had fun. We left at the bottom of the 7th inning... We were losing badly 14-3.
A few pictures to share from yesterday...
And then, this last one makes me so MAD! That darn guy in the background stuck his tongue out on ALL of our pictures - every last copy... Seriously people, I understand your need to photobomb, but this was our ONLY chance to get this picture, and he toally wrecked all of them... I am so mad!
Anyways... Afterwards, we went to Famous Dave's for dinner... It was very nice.
We came home and went straight to bed, we were all so tired!
Today, I work at Target - yes on a Monday...
Tomorrow, I will be back to work in my sewing room.
I hope you all have a wonderful day - prayers and good thoughts to all of you!
