I'm sorry to hear about V's problems. Sometimes a kid gets blamed for stuff that is not entirely her fault. I used to work in a school library and saw it all the time.
Work is still rough. they sent a couple of managers over to our department to help. that makes it interesting. We're a small store so not a lot people work here to start out with. The customers have been understanding for the most part and thing it's kind of funny when management have to ask us what to do. Some of the customers think that the managers know everything about the store.
I hope your fabric arrives on Monday. that is so frustrating.
Enjoy your weekend.
Liz
Yes, I agree. It will be fine, it's just a little annoying and frustrating.
Hopefully things get better at your store soon - only a few days left until Christmas.
Thanks... It doesn't look like it's going to...

The last time it was scanned was Saturday morning. This is so frustrating.
I hope you had a nice weekend too.
Finished Day 2!
Typhoon Lagoon looks like a lot of fun. Sorry you had to wait an entire hour to get on your first slide. That IS annoying. cute bathing suit and cute pics of the girls!
How lovely that you got to see Santos's baby girl. How sweet!
UGH to the transportation nightmare. I really don't like making ADRs at resorts unless I have a car. It's just SO annoying. You guys were really good sports about it and it looks like you had a great time. Your dress and necklace are really cute!
We did have a lot of fun at TL... Wish I was there now. LOL Thanks - I just love Lands End swimwear... It's super comfy and (IMO) very flattering.
I know - it was super cool that he brought her so I could meet her. She is just precious - and she has grown so much since then!
Yah - that was a mess, it really makes me want to rething resort dining in the future. But we did have fun. Thanks! I put a lot of time into planning my outfits/accessories.
I'm so sorry to hear about V's problems. Sadly kids get the blame for things that is not only their fault. Adults can't have eyes and ears everywhere all the time and other kids try not to get the blame for what they was a part off by blaming someone else.
Here the plan is to bake american cookies (chocolate chip) this weekend. We only call the cookies (in English. We haven't got a Norwegian word for them) The reason we call them cookies in my family is because we got the recipe back when we lived in the USA for a year. And we have backed them only for Christmas every year since.
Yes, it's very frustrating. But we just have to deal with it.
I hope you had fun baking cookies! And I hope they were delicious!
Sorry to hear about V, thankfully we have cameras on our buses so if something happens they are available for us to view! That is a long time to suspend her from the bus though!
Hope you have a great weekend and your fabric comes in early on Monday! Maybe you could ship it to the buyer's resort to save time!
We have cameras too, but I don't think they are constant? I am not sure? I agree - it is a very long time - a little over the top if you ask me. I think they are just trying to prove a point with V, and it doesn't sit well with me at all.
Thanks! I am a little nervous that it won't be here today either, the last time it was scanned was Saturday morning - according to USPS, it hasn't arrived at my local PO yet - and it's been less than 20 miles away for 3 days.
Wow V has fantastic mad drawing skills !! Hope your package shows up. Frank mailed a letter that took 3 weeks to get there, crazy. Yes things should slow down now that we are unpacked and settled in. Love the warm weather here. Not to brag but it was 60 something yesterday!
Thanks Trish - I think so too.
I sure hope it does, otherwise I will have to use my back up fabric - which won't make me happy.
Glad to hear you are settled... Mmmm... I could use some 60° weather right now - although it's been a pretty mild winter here (so far) temperature wise. We haven't gotten to the worst of it yet though.
Hi D~!
We just got back from a trip to Disneyland! It was a lot of fun. The Disney blues are setting in though... But now I'm getting caught up on your TR and daily updates! Sounds like you all have been super busy!
How sweet of Josh to take you out to such a nice hotel! It looked so beautiful in the pictures!!
I hope your fabric shows up. I bet USPS is running behind right now due to the holidays.
That stinks about V getting in trouble on the bus... She looks too innocent to get in trouble!! LOL
Where did you find such a great deal on jeans? I've been on the hunt for new jeans. American Eagle has been making their jeans so differently recently, so I'm trying to find a different brand.
Hope you have a great weekend!!
Bummer about the Disney blues... They are such a hard funk to get out of sometimes.
I hope so too - but it's not looking too promising.
Hahaha... Well, as every mother knows - not all children are innocent.
I purchased them at Gordman's... I think they might be a local store? Not sure - I haven't seen many of them around. I highly recommend Silvers though - super comfy. I've resisted the urge to buy new ones since I've been losing - but that deal was hard to pass up.
Thanks, I did, I hope you had a great one too!

We had an amazing and crazy weekend!
First I took Alli to work on Saturday morning...
Picked V up from her friend's house...
Dropped MM off at BFF's house for his first sleepover. I was a little nervous about this, so was she, but MM is a good boy.
Then V and I came back home and I worked on some last minute Santa gifts for the girls... Me n' my brainy ideas. LOL It only took me 4 hours to do a simple project.
After I finished, I packed and got ready...
We picked Alli up at work at exactly 4:30 and drove straight out to my foster-parent's house. We arrived at 7pm, they were holding dinner for us... Lasagna, made with Italian cheese... It was delicious. Yes, I ate it - even the noodles.
The girls with their cousins...
All of us...
Jesse and I...
Then we had a few drinks... Played a game of Yatzee... Almost everyone went to bed, except for the girls and I, my foster sister and cousins. That's when the fun began... Of course - I had to show off my muscles... So did Jesse...
Which made me think of this...
Of course, Jesse is cute when she does her's.
Then it was time for hand stands... Jesse didn't do too well at this - even though I was trying to help...
Of course - I can do them, but we already knew that.
We had a fun night... Yes, there were a few drinks involved, but I've been much worse off.
Meanwhile... MM was having fun too - BFF spoiled him rotten.
We stayed up chatting while sitting on the kitchen counters for a lot of the night, then we went to bed around 2.
Yesterday, Grandpa made breakfast... It was delicious.
We all got ready, and drove out to my Mom's family Christmas party.
That was a lot of fun - but no pictures.
We had to be on the road by 2:30 because Alli had to work at 5. We were all exhausted.
Allison made it to work just on time.
We brought all of our stuff home, unloaded the truck, then we went back up to BFF's house to get MM.
It was a great weekend - and it was great to see family!
I work at Target today...
Josh is off of work for the week.
Hoping my fabric comes today... If not, I will have to work on Plan B.
I hope you all have a fabulous day! Prayers and good thoughts to all of you.
D~
