Anyone know what the normal deposit amount would cost and how long you would have to pay the balance on one of these packages?

The HP Celebration package is limited and you have to pay full price at the time of booking. I believe no cancellations/refunds, either.

Their normal vacation packages, last I booked, was $150 deposit with the balance payable 45 days before travel.

I know this how my daughter is going to react as well. I cannot wait to see her face as she takes it all in! I am a huge fan as well and I am so looking forward to this weekend!

Make sure you try and do a lot! Definitly go to the Expo in USF. A family told us it wasn't good, so we took their word for it and didn't go. Man, we missed out. I saw pictures of it when I got home, and I will make a point of it to go this year.

Do you know if we can upgrade our 3 day package tickets to an annual pass if we decide to while we are there?

I called Universal with a similar question and they said as long as the ticket is still active, you can. That means last day to upgrade your 3-day ticket is before you leave the park on the 3rd day.

So I see that Annual Pass Holders have to call a number at 12pm today; they can't order online. But what about non-pass holders? Do we just keep refreshing the website page for the Celebration in order to see where to click to try to purchase tickets?

So happy to report that I called right at 12pm today and purchased a the Celebration of Harry Potter package!! My daughter was so excited and happy she asked to speak to the person from Universal so she could say thank you.
We are going to have such a wonderful and special mother/daughter trip! Thank you for your advice everyone!

Were you able to reserve with a deposit or does it require payment in full? I'm just concerned about being able to cancel if something comes up.

Requires full payment up front, BUT you can purchase cancellation protection for the trip. It is $35 per person, but gives you the ability to cancel at any time without penalty (well except loss of the $35 protection fee).

I can't wait to go! Now to spend the next few months getting in shape for Florida.

Hello, I will go to Universal from January 24th to january 31st. I will stay at Cabanna Bay Beach. Some days ago I saw that there will be this event and now I am Worried.

I am Spanish and I have never been there, so I only want to avoid crowds (that is why I have chosen this dates).

How will this affect to me? I will only go to Universal 3 days... if I go for example

On sunday 25, monday 26 and wednesday 27 then there will be more people than normal?

Also, i have a reservation on the hotel a month ago. ¿Will i have to pay more or something because of this event??

If I want to go to the event on friday, for example, do I have to pay more? (I will buy the flexiticket)
