A car drove into the front of the building

I work tonight at
As some of you know I work at a local grocery store in Burlington

a woman hit the gas instead of the brakes and drove thru the wall in the middle of the building
half of her car was in the backroom where the cash office is

this is where i do part of my job everynight
a wonderful woman that i work with who has a young son had just walked out of that room when the car plowed thru

it was very scary
i got just home from work about 10 min ago and had to wake up DH it was one of the most surreal things I have ever seen

i am still kinda in shock and grateful that none of the wonderful people i work with were hurt

How scary, I grew up in Burlington. It must be Shaws on 3A? I had planned on shopping there tomorrow. I'm glad everyone is safe.

yeah alot of us felt weird
i dont think i wanna be in that office for awhile
there was twisted metal and bricks everywhere

it definetly shook me up

like i said im just happy everyones ok

Glad no one was hurt!!!
It will creep you out for a long time. It is like a home invasion, only it's a vehicular invasion. It shakes your sense of security.
We had our house driven into. No one could believe the neighbor fit her car through the yard like she did.
