Hey everyone! Welcome to my report! This is definitely going to be a report with a ton of firsts! Let me first start off with this is my first time ever writing a trip report, so I hope ya'll can hang in there with me. I've been a lurker for some time now with an occassional comment here and there. Before I get started with the firsts, let me introduce the "Cast of Characters":

Me- Cara, I am and always will be the ultimate planner of trips. My family calls me "Tour Guide". I am a reading teacher and also a new mommy. I love doing crafty things. Right now, I am into making hairbows. I LOVE all of the Disney parks!

DH- Brett, I have officially made him a Disney addict. He is also a teacher. He teaches Math, so we are fortunate to have the same time off for vacations. Before we were together, he had been to Disney one time. Since being together, more than 15 times. It doesn't help that we live 3 hours away! Haha! His favorite park is Epcot.

DM- Grammy, DVC owner, AKA "Disney enabler" and proud grandma. She loves spending time with her grandbaby.

DD- Papa, DVC owner, Harley owner (notice a lot of his shirts), and nature lover. He absolutely adores his granddaughter and constantly wants to hold her.

Boo- Bayleigh, newest member of our family. Both DH and I are only children, so she is VERY SPOILED by both sets of grandparents. She is such a character. She is constantly smiling and talking to everyone.

So now that you met everyone, let's get on with the show. This trip will have a bunch of "Firsts". This will be Bayleigh's First Disney Christmas Trip! :yay: (I can't say it is her "First" trip, since she has been several times while I was preggo and then for a short trip in October for Food and Wine.)

Where will we be staying and when?

Treehouse Villas- December 8-12th

We are all very excited since this is another "First" for us.

***********************************************
I have to get to bed since I have an early morning tomorrow, but I will be posting the itinerary tomorrow.

So today, my husband called my classroom. We work at the same school. He went online and looked up Florida Resident deals for December. He happened to find a good deal for POP for one night. He already talked it over with my parents and decided to book it. So, now we are leaving on the 7th instead on the morning of the 8th. He thought it would be better to drive up the night before and then have a day at a park.

Our Tentative Itinerary:

Dec. 7th- Leave after school and drive 3 hours. Check into POP

Dec. 8th- Check out of POP and try to check into the Treehouse Villas early.
Disney Hollywood Studios
ADR for dinner at Boma. Celebrating Papa's Birthday!

Dec. 9th- Animal Kingdom
ADR for dinner at Ohana

Dec. 10th- Epcot
ADR for dinner at Garden Grill

Dec. 11th-Magic Kingdom
ADR for Breakfast at Crystal Palace (This is a frist for us.)

Dec. 12th- Check out day :sad1:
ADR for breakfast at Chef Mickey's (Not sure if we will keep it.)
Downtown Disney before hitting the road

So, it has been crazy over the past couple of weeks since I last updated. I can't believe that this time next week we will be in Disney World. Woohoo! :cool1:

This past weekend we celebrated Bayleigh's 1st Thanksgiving. She had mashed potatoes for the first time.

Here is a close up picture of the hair bow I made for her:

After a great "First Thanksgiving", my husband and I did some shopping this weekend. We got a lot of great deals for things for Bayleigh and others in our family. Besides shopping, I have been getting things ready for our trip and decorating for Christmas.

So yesterday, I decided to check out the weather forecast for the trip. Man, was I in shock for the temperatures that we will have. :scared1: I live in Southern Florida. Our temperatures lately have been about 80s. I saw that it was going to be in the low 70s and high 40s. That's a big difference. All of us adults will be fine, but I had to change up Bayleigh's outfits and I don't have a lot of colder weather outfits for her since we rarely get any. Over the past 2 days, I have been searching for warmer clothes for her. I haven't had much luck, but will post some pics tomorrow of what I did find. (They are uploading to photobucket as I write.)

So this time next week, we would have checked into our hotel the night before and be waking up here:

I'll hopefully be able to take a morning walk with the baby around here:

We'll say good morning to these guys:

We'll see this:

Before heading here:

We'll grab some breakfast and then head back to the room to pack up everything. Yup, we're packing up because we will be switching to here:

We're going to try and see if our Treehouse Villa is ready, but I highly doubt it will be.

Our plan is to spend the morning here:

But the weather says that there is a 60% chance of rain so we may end up here:

Later that night we'll be eating dinner at Boma for my Dad's Birthday. Well, I have to go get ready for work. More later! Have a good day everyone!

Hi! Great PTR. Bayleigh is adorable! Is she the same age as Landon? I like her Thanksgiving bow. I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to make a bow, so I guess it is good I have boys.

Did Bayleigh like the mashed potatoes? I gave Landon a bite on Thanksgiving and he gave me an awful look, like I had betrayed him and spit them out. I would have thought they would be tastier than his stage two turkey and sweet potato meal, but I guess not.

I like your ADRs. You have a lot of places I would have picked, if we were going to sit through more meals with the boys. I love Ohana, and have been wanting to try Boma for awhile. I also would like to take the boys to the Crystal Palace. Carter is apparently a Tigger fan. He has four words: eye, goat, ear, and Tigger. Not the most useful words, but he makes the most of them.

Hi, Thanks for joining! No, Bayleigh isn't the same age as Landon. She's a little over 5 months old. Making bows is my new thing. I'm trying to start up a small business to make some extra money so hopefully I can stay at home. We'll see!
As for the mashed potatoes, at first she was like "What the heck is this!" Then, she was like this is pretty good. Haha! She just recently started things other than cereal. We are on peas now! She doesn't seem to like those much.
I don't think we do a lot of our ADRs if it wasn't for my parents being their for the meal. Bayleigh likes to look at everything now and trying to eat out is becoming difficult. She wants to be either on my lap or my husbands so that she can see everything.
Your boys are so cute! I can't wait to see more pictures.

*****************************************************
While, it's finally Friday! Woohoo! I love Friday's! It's Reading test day for all my Reading Classes, so it's pretty much an easy day.

Last night, I started to pack for our trip. I checked the weather forecast and it's going to be cooler. I have to go out and find some more cool weather clothes for Bayleigh! Fingers crossed, that I will find something. The front actually made it's way down here. We had lows of 55-56. Yeah, I love that!

Bayleigh was helping me pack but packing can be exhausting as you can see:

Here are some of the outfits I found for her over the past couple of days:

When we did a short trip at the beginning of October, we picked up these things for the trip. I don't know if she'll be able to wear some of them, but we'll layer her up.

I love the sayings on this one.

This one is for Crystal Palace.

I love the backside.

This one my dad picked out. I don't know if she'll be able to wear it.

I can't believe we have only 4 more days. DH has to take the car in today for an oil change, before our drive up to the world. :woohoo:
