Hi all,
We are staying at POR for the majority of our honeymoon, with the exeption of our wedding night, we will be staying at BWI. We will probably eat counter service breakfast at POR everyday that we are there. We would like to have one nice sit down breakfast the morning that we are at BWI. I've checked out BWI In Room Dining, but the prices seem very high for what you are getting compared to going to a restraunt. Can anyone suggest someplace good to go that we could walk to from the BWI. I am thinking the character breakfast at the Beach Club, any thoughts on this?
Also, is there anywhere we can get the Mickey shaped waffles?

One more thing, that morning we will try to venture to either Epcot, (since we can walk there from BWI, or MGM, since we can take the boat), so if there are any restruants in these areas that serve a good breakfast, consider those as well.

ok, sorry this was such a long post about breakfast!

have any more questions about the wedding, let me know..

The best breakfast on disney property is a very short walk from you....Fresh at the Dolphin..it would be a great place for you to go.

Everything is, as the name would suggest Fresh. It is like a buffet, with most everything cooked in front of you. It is getting to be a very popular place, because it is so good..so make a priority seating.

The closet place to you is Spoodles, right there at the boardwalk.
They serve a pretty good breakfast, ok pricing. Fresh is much better.

Enjoy!

We really enjoy the character breakfast at the Cape May Cafe at the BC. It is not as hectic as other character meals. They serve Mickey waffles on the kids' part of the buffet.

We love breakfast at Spoodle's, also. They have great french toast. The huge mugs of hot chocolate with whipped cream are divine!

spoodles on the boardwalk is one of our favorite breakfasts. Whispering canyon is our other fave.

Another vote for Fresh at the Dolphin! ::yes::

Hi Meranda! As you can see, the problem is going to be choosing just one breakfast from the many great choices in the Boardwalk area!

If you'd like to do a character breakfast, Cape May is an excellent choice. It's one of the more relaxed character breakfasts that adults can really enjoy.

Fresh at the Dolphin gets rave reviews for excellent food and would be convenient to you at the BWI.

If you're interested in a very good breakfast that is also the most conveniently located to you, that would be Spoodles.

If you decide at the last minute that you'd like to just grab a quick bite and head to the parks, the Boardwalk Bakery has many delicious choices.

Happy planning! :D

Spoodles has a great breakfast service, with good food and coffee. Gullivers is at the Swan, also very good breakfast. I've read about Fresh at the Dolphin and we really wanted to try it but ran out of time. Something I read said they had apple stuffed french toast... For a buffet Cape May has a character breakfast.

FYI - on the In Room Dining card, there was a "family feast" which was $44 - it was more food then the 4 of us could ever eat, we packed a ton of stuff to take with us, Mickey waffles actually did pretty well moving. A less expensive option to do in room - order one breakfast of something like an omlette, then order a Boardwalk Bakery breakfast. Split the omlette dish, then nibble on breads, have juice and coffee, and it might have fresh fruit, or you can order some as a side item. It would probably break about even with something like Cape May, but you can relax, eat on the patio if it is nice, and enjoy that first morning rather than getting up and trying to get somewhere.

Another vote for SPOODLES!!!!!
It is a very short walk from the Boardwalk and it is a favorite of myself and my DS (14yrs old). We love their breakfast pizza. We used to share one but now get one each because it is SOOOOO good. All their food is good (great coffee also) and it has a nice atmosphere. Nice to look out over the boardwalk while eating.

Thank you all so much for the suggestions. You're right, this is going to be a tough call, they all sound so tastey. Although I really do like the idea of relaxing and eating breakfast on the balcony. Maybe we will do that and take advantage of the beautiful room before we have to check out. No sence in rushing ourselves out of a room that we are paying so much for.

Does Spoodles offer take out?

I think (not sure) that if you order room service breakfast from the Boardwalk the hot food comes from Spoodles. The Boardwalk has no restaurant so any food you order from room service probably comes from one of the area restaurants. I'm pretty sure that I read that on allearsnet.com. Check it out by clicking on dining and then menus on the next page.
