G'morning folks!

I'm departing for my first WDW Solo trip in 96 hours. I'm really excited as I normally travel with my FI. He's 33, I'm 21, and we've both got moderate ADHD. I wasn't diagnosed until the age of 19, he's been medicated his whole life.

We both stay on our meds while vacationing, but I'm a bit nervous about my first solo trip. We both get fidgety in line, and I know one thing that makes the wait more bearable for us is having each other to keep occupied. I've already got my hidden mickey book packed, and I plan on taking two textbooks with me (boring, I know) to read in line- figure it cuts down on what I'll have to do for my courses when I get back.

Any other tips for a solo ADHD adult to keep busy?

Do you have a digital camera, Doing a WDW "study" and documentation can be a great fun and gives you a personal library. I am the worst photographer but it is still fun and fills in "boring" times.

and I like to people watch and at times I strike up conversationns in line to pass the time or while waiting for a parade or fireworks.

If you have any held hand device that can play games that might pass the time.

Have an exit stradegy just in case and use fastpass as much as possible. Also, if the waiting time is longer than you know you can bare then skip the ride/attraction until a better time. Even if you miss a few rides you will be more content.

I liked my solo trip and you may want to check out the solo disboards and maybe meet up with some other Disney enthusiasts. It's a little late to plan this now, but you never know; unless, you try.

What about using an I-Pod or MP3 player for in the lines?
