When should I make my reservations for Aug 8th week? What restraunts are good for kids and make it enjoyable for them? Is the shows like Arabian Nights, etc worth taking the kids too or should I plan something different? (also--the cost of the ticket-is that just for a seat or does that include meal too?) Dress or casual clothes? I havent even thought about this portion of my trip yet!!! Guess I didnt think we would be eating lol!!
http://www.pscalculator.net/ will help you with when you can make your PS reservations though I'm thinking you're either within the 90 day mark almost which is when you can make most of the res for your trip. Ok, so I would suggest the Sci-Fi Drive In at MGM which is a great experience for the kids - it's like being at the movies for lunch. Crystal Palace at MK, Chef Mickey's at the CR or/and Ohana's at the Poly for a character meal are great as well. I only just did Crystal Palace this past March and loved the food and the atmosphere plus the kids enjoy the Winnie the Pooh characters that are there. For a dinner show, the Hoop-Dee-Doo at FW is amazing but expensive. I don't know about Arabian Nights as I've never been but I hear it is a good show generally. Some of my other favorites are the Rose and Crown Pub at Epcot and the Plaza Resturant and Liberty Tree Tavern (also a character meal) at MK. I would make PS's when you can as you'll be down there at one of the busiest times of the summer. Good luck!
