A Birthday Celebration - The Holidays, Disney Style (Dec. 2010)

Yesterday I tried to get my Disney luggage from the attic, but it fell on the way down snapping the wheel off. It was almost a crisis.

But jjohnson offered to lend her Disney suitcase to me

Yesterday I picked up my cousin and her husband's Disney ponchos...looks like 1 day of rain in the forecast!

I also picked up jjohnson's Donner bag tonight and am going to attached the Lime Green Mickey head tomorrow (pics to come). But for days we may not want to carry as much I have my Lime Green baggallini

Today I treated myself to a mani/pedi today. My toes are the same color. I think its a fabulous Christmas red

With a little over a day to go and having planned so much, I still have a ton to do. It is almost 10pm and I plan on waking at 6am so I can get into bed by 8pm-ish tomorrow. But tonight I'd like to get most of my packing done and since I'll be packing I figured it'd be a good time to go through clothes and see what my DSister may want and give the rest to Salvation Army. I also want to clean a bit since Joe will be here tomorrow night.

So far I've successfully avoided getting sick...but I feel awful avoiding my mother.

Tomorrow I am getting a car wash, double-checking show times, weather etc. and checking-in to Jetblue. Plus, finishing packing! So much to do!

Until tomorrow...

I really love that color red! It's very festive! I think I'll look for something along that same line when I get my mani/pedi on Thursday. It's time for my nail artist to paint a "mickey" on my toe!!! Should I go white or try for the lime green on the red toe??? (Not that my toes are going to get much air time with the temps I'm seeing forecast!)

Ok, so right now Joe is at my house and I'm putting up my work away message. We're all packed, except for a few last minute things in the morning.

I'm thinking I'll probably fall asleep around 9:30pm and we have to wake at 2am. A car service is picking us up in the am because my mom is still feeling under the weather, so we opted to take that route. We would have traveled via train, but no trains run as early as we are leaving.

So, we had a blast! I picked up a cold along the way, which luckily didn't affect me until our last day.

Glad to see there's a planner out there like me! We're not going until Dec 2011, and I have a binder going already , but I am an event planner by trade, so I just tell my DH that it's a occupational hazard.
