Just to echo the above, Kevin, Tammy and Hilary did a wonderful job!! Thanks too to Amy for the wonderful drawings on the quiz sheets!! We had a raffle, quiz, children's colouring competion and Hunt the Lollipops, beat that SE organisers!!!!

Just to let everyone know that Sally and Laura steered Steve safely home across the common with the dog, he claims only 7 pints but Laura says it was 10!!!!!

Thanks to all the great company who travelled so far, and to Naveed for giving the wounded soldier a lift home. See you all soon!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for coming and making it a wonderful day.

Special thanks to Hilary and Amy for setting an excellent quiz, even with the whinging from certain elements.
The drawings on the front of the quiz papers were excellent.

Best part of the day: Well, all of it really.

Worst part of the day: When the landlady decided that the bar was shutting at 3:00. After I had picked myself up off the floor, Tam and I had a word and she kindly sorted it out so we could continue drinking for the rest of the day.
Added a few more gray hairs though!

Nice to meet some new faces (The Dazzles and Spottydogs). Thanks for coming such a long way. See you at the Northern Meet, Dave.

A big thank you from me too!!

Had a lovely day (apart from the journey up!! ) and didn't actually get home till gone midnight as Dave & Val insisted I stay with them for supper - well, how could I refuse chilli & Big Brother in their Trailer!!

Thanks to Kev and Tammy for all their hard work (and obviously bunging the lovely landlady a big bribe so she stayed open), to Hilary for the quiz and everyone else for being there and making it such an enjoyable day.

So, when's the SE Meet then Shirley?!

We've just got back from Gloucestershire and want to say a massive thank you to everyone at The Carrot Cruncher's Meet for their warm welcome and hospitality. It was great to meet so many of me favourite DISers after all this time.

We enjoyed it so much we're defo comin back next year- so yer'll have to keep the venue quiet or we'll turn up again.

Well we were so glad to come over for this great meet.

It was soooo great to meet up with old friends and new

Hilary it was a great quiz... sorry what didn't the Spotty Dog win - you are definately a family of DIS naturals ofcourse with a little help from Astrid.

It wasn't until I was in the car that I realised that I may have a had a little too much to drink - those white wines just kept on coming well done Kev and Tam for keeping the bar open, what a shock that would've been. Obviously I was the one trying to keep up with Steve We came third in the quiz but I think it all had something to do with bribing Katie (Little Dazzle) with a snowball.. we owe you one Katie :0

Thanks again Kev, Tam and Hilary for organising we'll be back next year and seriously thinking about the Northern Meet.

I obviously have plenty of time to help organise the SE meet so Shirley just say the word.
