We were at Columbia Harbor House on Fri. June 11. It was our first day in the parks and my worst fear happened. We were eating upstairs and were getting up to leave. We put the tip on the table and turned around. My 6 yr. old son was there but not my 3 yr. old daughter. My husband and I started calling her and looking for her. I told the CM upstairs and he asked what she was wearing and told me to check the bathrooms. When I came downstairs in a panic, he and another CM had found her. She was outside walking the streets of Liberty Square. I am glad that Disney has ways to communicate fast when a child is lost. So I am sending out a BIG THANK YOU TO THE CM who found my daughter!!!!

Gald you found your daughter safe and sound. On a side note just wondering why you were leaving a tip at Columbia Harbor House. That is a counter service place, isn't it?
Asked like a true Diser!!! I cracked up out loud when I read this, I know exactly what you meant but I thought, Wow, once the important stuff is solved we Diser's get down to business, dont' we!!! LOL
Forget leaving a tip on the table TIP THE CM HEEEEEAAAVVVVYYY! Start with cash, then follow up with a WRITTEN LETTER to WDW including the CM's name and explanation of the incident!
JMHO!!! Congrats on a quick recovery of your precious item!

I guess I am still frazzled by the incident. I wasn't leaving a tip. I was giving my husband the extra cash from the meal for him to carry. Later that night we ate at Liberty Tree Tavern and did leave a tip. So I was getting the two mixed up. Sorry about the confusion. And I will send a letter of thanks to Disney. I wish I got the CM's names the helped us. I just didn't think about it at the time.
