A big thank you for all your help

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone on this site who (in their own small way) made our recent trip to WDW such a huge success.

I planned for approx. 11 months before we even touched down in Orlando. To be perfectly honest sometimes I thought it was over kill, how could one place require so much planning? The truth is is doesn't. If you just want a run of the mill Disney experience where you run around in circles all day never doing what you want or eating where you want, just wing it. But thanks to the people that commented on my threads and gave advice this trip was one that my wife and I will never forget.

I think it was the smaller things that made the biggest difference for us. The suggestions on great table service rest., Fastpass tips, "head over to the Polonesian and watch "Wishes" from the beach". The help I recieved free of charge from complete strangers was amazing.

We absolutely fell in love with Disney on this trip and have started planning our 2013 return (and truth be told were crazy close to buying into the DVC). Thank you again, I will continue to seek help and advice and give it where I can.

But decided to check yours out.....the reaction was fantastic....after our 46 trips to WDW, nothing is better than that first look up Main Street at the castle....heck just entering the MK makes us giddy even after all our trips, still the best park on property and to capture her reaction is priceless....let the memories continue...ours still do.....

All she has ever wanted to do is walk down Main St. and see Cinderella Castle in person. It was so great to be able to do this for her. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I can't wait to go back. November 2013 will be our next trip to WDW. I was not a big fan before we went but that changed the minute I arrived at MK. I think I'm looking forward to going back as much as my wife!

I also wanted to agree with your post. I found the DISboards back in 2007 when my family was planning our 1st trip as a family. Once I found it - I was hooked! I was obsessed and on it all the time.
The facts, tips and ideas were invaluable and made our trip a gazillion times better then those of my friends who just went with no plan at all (they were jealous of all the things I learned from here!).

So....a BIG thank you to all the people who love everything Disney and take the time to answer newbie questions over and over!!

I do not know what I would have done without this site. There were so many times in WDW where the only reason things went as well as they did was because of the Dis and the generous peolpe that use it every day.

I agree with the past posters...your wife is beautiful and what takes my breath away about her is the way she embraced a childhood fantasy. She proves Disney is not just about children. I have 3 kids and probably would never have thought to go to WDW with just myself and my husband but everytime we go I too get caught up in the magic of it all.
When I took my kids to meet Mickey for the first time it was me jumping around screaming 'It's Mickey!! It's really Mickey!"

I agree with you and everyone on the DisBoards, our trip would be nothing without all the help the members offer on here. I hope I can be of value to some newbie one day, in the same way that everyone that has helped me to make the most of a magical trip for my family.

SUCCESS...When you only get to go to THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH every year or so --- you can not plan too much. I'm so happy that it worked out and the reaction of your wife was definitely PRICELESS!!!!
