A big HELLO from a longtime lurker!

Hi, after lurking here for many years and learning so much from you all to help me plan my past Disney trips, I finally made the leap and registered today!
LOL, I don't know what took me so long, but here I am. I start every morning reading the boards, so now I will be able to join in when I want.

I have just used all kinds of useful info from the DISboards to plan our first stay on Disney at the POR in Sept. I can't wait to experience Disney on property!

We are a rather large, wild family. My husband and I have been married 16 years and have six kids, 2 girls and 4 boys! Our past Disney trips hold so many wonderful, magical memories. My parents always go with us and it makes for a much easier time with all the kids and priceless memories of time spent with the grandparents for the kids. There is no where else I would rather spend vacation time than at WDW!

We didn't make it to WDW last year because of having just had my daughter so we were in major need of a Disney fix. We were planning on September and then the free dining package came about! Woohoo! What a blessing! My dream to stay onsite finally is going to come true!

Anyhow, I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Hey, nice to see some people in my area! I actually live in Butler, Pa just north of Pittsburgh, but people don't usually know Butler,so I usually list Pittsburgh because everyone knows Pittsburgh! Go Steelers!

Guess what ?? the 1st place I learned in Pa was Butler,Pa I graduated in HS and was hoping to get in a program in Butler. But I end up going to the Philippines for college. When I graduated, and back in San Diego.... looking for a job and stuff got complicated and I end up back in Pa (Philadelphia). I see we are going to be in the WORLD the sametime hope we can meet and chit chat. We are also doing a Illumination Dessert Gathering on Sept. 28, if interested click the link below. Also attending the MNSSHP on Sept. 30... either or.. would be great to meet up!

Hi, krdisneybound......I am still trying to learn how the posting works on here, but I think I am getting it....but as for the stuff I have learned about Disney on here, I can't even list it all! I love reading peoples opinions on hotels, resturaunts, etc.. I also used many peoples opinions on here to help me book all my Adr's or PS's (whatever they are called,LoL) for my upcoming trip. I enjoy reading everyone's trip reports too, because I love to see how others do Disney!

Hey Antss2001, that's funny you wanted to live in Butler. I bet you've had a much more exciting life by the sounds of it. Butler is pretty small town. I love it though. Decent place to raise the kids.....for now. Like everywhere else it is not the place it used to be.
Anyhow, that would be nice to meet up at the World! Planning on doing MNSSHP on the 30th too. We'll have to plan something. My crew is a little choatic though so I doubt the Illumination thing would fly. I am dying to do that someday though. How many in your family?

POFQ looks beautiful! I figure we will be checking out the pool sometime. The kids will love their slide. We'll probably be in Alligator Bajou since I think it is the only one with trundle beds. I sooooo wish Disney had more moderate hotel choices for a larger family. POR was our only choice, but it looks wonderful, so I'm am so excited! Hope to see ya there!
