My family ate at Marrakesh last friday night.

We all (five adults) had the Royal Feast which includes appetizer, entrees, and dessert.
We received our 20% discount which saved us approximately $30.

I would contact member services and find out the real deal.
If "specials" are excluded, then DVC should edit the "perks" pages to reflect that so that unwelcomed surprises like yours do not occur.

I like this idea! The DVC resort front desk / guest services personnel are much more familar with DVC discounts than are most of the etablishments that offer the discounts. It would also eliminate a possibly time-consuming conversation at the end of the meal.

This seems unfair to me - it's not the wait staff that make the rules and this would hurt them without really impacting the policy.
