A Beaches & Cream Question

We will be visiting WDW in April and have been busy booking our ADR's, FP+'s etc. We have an ADR at Beaches & Cream one night at about 8:00PM. As will be doing an early lunch at Be Our Guest earlier in the day we plan to have a "dinner" made up of some of the ice cream creations we have been hearing about ... it is our first visit to the B&C establishment. Is it okay to use an ADR for ice cream rather than a meal (although as far as I am concerned ice cream is a perfectly acceptable meal!) or should we cancel the ADR and try to get a table as walk ins? Not sure what the etiquette is on this one.

We had an ADR this past trip just for the kitchen sink.
It was really busy when we were there - I would definitely keep an ADR instead of trying to walk up.

Definitely keep the ADR--some desserts are available to go but there's much less selection. And part of the experience is being there! I hope you order the kitchen sink, or that someone else in the restaurant does while you're there

There are very few fixed price restaurants at disney. Most places you can order as much or as little food as you'd like (unless you're on the dining plan. Then things are a bit more restricted). For me, if I'm planning on only ordering dessert or something small I try to remember to tip a bit more generously--I personally don't want wait staff earning less because I'm drinking water and eating dessert only. But of course that's at your discretion.

We have an ADr for our first day and I have no idea if we will want burgers and ice cream or just ice cream. I do know that ice cream is the only given.
