A baby, a house, and going to see the mouse! 12/10

Those are great resorts. Have fun this weekend. Hopefully his teething won't be too bad.

Thank you! I hope so as well. I bought an array of teethers thinking that would help, but so far he's not interested in using anything.

Oh good luck with the teething. We have been dealing with that for a bit.

Cool about the split stay. Split stays scare me.

Thanks Chiara! I hope Sami is doing well.

I'm a little nervous, but I trust Disney with our luggage more than I trust the airlines. ;)

Oh a split stay! Sounds fantastic! We hope to stay at all Disney resorts eventually and since we plan on driving we are doing some split stays in our future!

We were supposed to go to Disney this January 4th but it got bumped to may obviously... When I planned the jan trip we were definitely going to see the osbourne lights!

Joining in on your PTR! Love your little one's name. I have a Jonah as well. He is my one and only boy out of 4 kiddos :goodvibes He is 18 now.
We took our youngest DD to WDW on her first trip at 3 1/2 mos. She was so much fun :goodvibes Our four kids have gone at various ages and they all are great times. Be sure and get loads of pictures of your little one with all the characters.
Love your resort choices! We have stayed at the WL before during Christmas and it was so nice!

Teething is a hard time for moms and dads. hope the trip went well. maybe the driving soothes him???

Very exciting news on the spilts stay. We will be staying at WL for the first time and are so excited.

I just found your PTR. What a sweet little family and what a lot of changed in a short amount of time! I like that you said your husband is an old man trapped in a 27 year old's body, that describes my DH exactly! (well be are both old souls, but old souls who love Disney so also young at heart?)

I am also not to sure how he would feel about a trip with the MIL!

I looks forward to seeing the progress on your trip, condo and baby as he grows! What fun!

Staying at all the Disney resorts would be amazing. I think having your own vehicle would definitely help, especially with traveling with a little one.

I hope Gavin is doing well!

Ohhhh YAY! I've always wanted to do a split stay, and those are two awesome resorts! :thumbsup2
I agree. It will be nice to be so close to the MK since I'm sure that's where we'll be spending a majority of our time.

:welcome: Thank you! I am hoping we'll finish before we leave in January. I will probably post some pics soon of our progress though.

Thank you so much! We had a great time and Jonah did so well despite the teething.

We're slowly but surely making progress.

Thanks for joining in! I have to ask, do people sometimes call your son Noah? We've noticed that sometimes happens with our Jonah. I know Noah is a really popular name for his age though.

Three girls and a boy sounds like so much fun. :goodvibes How neat that you took your youngest daughter at such a young age. Some of our relatives think we're crazy for taking an infant.

I will definitely be sure to take lots of pictures.

Thanks. WL seems like it would be a great choice for a Christmas trip.

It really is difficult to see your little one in pain. :( Our trip went very well! Jonah usually doesn't care for being in his carseat, but we did the bulk of our driving during his regular bedtime which helped!

I've read so many good things about the WL. I think it's a perfect choice for your December trip.

Thanks for joining in and your kind words. Haha, an old soul with a young heart describes my DH perfectly.

Luckily, Drew's a good sport when it comes to my crazy family.

I hope to post some more updates soon. :goodvibes

Hi Everyone!
We got back Monday from our long weekend in St. Louis. I think traveling with Jonah taught us a few things, especially not to structure our day too much. We would make plans for the day and Jonah seemed to have his own agenda. He was a really good traveler though. At the last minute Drew and I decided to drive during the night so Jonah could stay on his schedule. It was a blast to see him enjoy all the new surroundings and people. Needless to say it has me really excited for WDW.

Now for a trip update...
We finally have all of our ADRs scheduled. One fun thing about traveling with a group of adults is trying to plan ADRs. My poor husband had to sit through a trip planning meeting with me and my mom.

The meeting wasnt my idea, but it did work.

So here are our official ADRs:

Saturday Dinner at Crystal Palace - For our first night we want to stay in the MK and Jonah has a really cute Winnie the Pooh onesie, which sealed the deal.

Sunday Dinner at 50s Prime Time - We have an early ADR so we can enjoy the lights.

Monday Breakfast at Tusker House - Drew was disappointed about not being able to dine at Boma, so this seems like a good compromise. Boma is just too much work to get to if you dont have a car, and Tusker house has some similar items. Plus, Donald Duck is Drews favorite.

Doesnt Donald look cute in his little safari gear?

Tuesday Dinner at Garden Grill - Lots of character meals! We gotta give Jonah the full WDW experience, right?

Wednesday Dinner at Ohana - This is the only ADR we have for a resort restaurant. Drew and I like it and my moms never been.

Thursday - No ADR, we may have some appetizers at the Territory Lounge. Originally we were going to go to Hoop Dee Doo... Well, in St. Louis Jonah had the mother of all meltdowns during the Cardinals game. Nothing we tried would soothe him, so we had to leave after two innings. We really dont want to spend $200 on a dinner show we might not be able to sit all the way through. Maybe in a few years!

Friday Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern - Cant wait to see Jonah wear his spatterdashes and powdered wig.

(I promise I do not actually plan to dress Jonah in a colonial themed outfit for this ADR.)

Saturday Breakfast at Kona Cafe - After reading so many wonderful Kona reviews I couldnt resist booking an ADR for breakfast. I think it will be a great way to end our vacation!

We haven't decided if we still want to try the Wishes Dessert Party. Maybe when the WDW Vacation Planning Committee meets again we will decide. Our next meeting is this weekend.. I wish I was kidding! :upsidedow

People call him Noah a lot. The get confused and say "I know its one of those Bible names...I just cant keep them straight!"....um, okay. I love his name, though. I only know of one other Jonah (he used to go to our church and was born after our Jonah).

:rotfl: That's exactly what people say to us. Or we're told to keep him away from whales. :p

I am glad you had a great weekend away and you had fun showing Jonah other sites and sounds.

I think that Tusker House is the perfect compromise for Boma.

I love all the meals you have chosen - you have some fantastic ones on there!

LTT is my FAVORITE lunch!!! Always a Must - Do!

Crystal Palace is always a must do before the park opens breakfast for us too - I think you said you're doing dinner there though? We have never been there for anything but breakfast.

I have also never been to Kona - but Suzi raves about it... So, I hope to get there some day.

Great plans.. And I love the official WDW planning committee. Hehehehe

Thanks D~! I'm glad too.

I think reading your reviews of LTT helped influence this choice. I have to finally try the lunch menu.

My mom and I went to CP for dinner during our last trip together. It wasn't as good as breakfast, but it was a great way to kick-off the trip.

I've only been there for dinner, but I'm looking forward to trying the tonga toast.

We're open to new memberships if you're ever in the Oklahoma City area. :rotfl2:

Love the adrs, Tusker House is a great meal, we love it. I've often heard its a lot like Boma, sounds like a good compromise!

I love that you have a trip planning committee :)

I cannot wait to see the Crystal Palace/Pooh onsie picture, that is guaranteed to be adorable!

Now you have me considering Tuskner house for AK, I have really been on the fence about it. We did Boma last year, I loved it, DH thought it was okay, but we both agreed it took way to much time getting there and back to really appreciate it.

I have so much trouble planning ADRs because this is only our second trip, and I want to try everything, while keeping our favorites! This is what we have discussed so far. If you get a chance would you mind looking at them and letting me know what you think? I feel like I have to missing a must do!

I am a little worried how DS will react to the characters. We didn't do any character meals last year, but he saw Duffy Bear walking through Epcot and really kind of freaked him out. I am hoping he is old enough not to be scared. It is good your little guy will be introduced to them young. Then when he chatters with his stuffed pooh or whoever you know he is really saying "come on, I know you can come to life, I have seen it before" Hooray Disney Magic :) :wizard:

you have such awesome plans. I try not to plan to much because of Js issues and now with Sami they seem to melt down in tandem. LOL

By January 4th the Christmas decorations in the resorts might be gone, but you should be able to enjoy them in the parks, and most importantly, see the Castle Dreamlights and the Osborne Festival of Lights. :goodvibes

Turquoise is my favorite color so of course I think your stroller looks awesome.
