You will definitely see the Christmas decorations early in January! I hear the first week of January is awesome for low crowd levels. Sounds like a great move and to stay at OKW - I love Disney's villas - you should have an abundance of space!

Wow, lots of changes!! I'm sorry that you can't get BOG now. We went for lunch in December and I think that was fine. The food wasn't great so I don't even know if I'd want to waste an ADR on it (and I've read the same from others in many reports, sadly). OKW is a beautiful resort, and the significance that it has for you is always nice, too.

Hi Krysten! I have also read the food isn't up to par with the atmosphere. We really liked OKW, I am so excited to go back.

This stroller folds with one hand! We wanted something that would be easy to get on and off a bus with.

Hi there! Joining In!! Sorry so late!! I followed over from D's PTR/TR ... I had kept seeing your fantastic pic of your little man and I finally realized tonight that it was a link to your ptr! haha (no really, I do know how to work a computer... hee hee)
CONGRATS on the newest addition to your family! He is adorable!! My oldest DD had reflux as well... we ended up needing to go to meds for her but it made a world of difference! Which meant no more of the vicious feeding cycles and no more crying...well, for either of us. Now that she is turning 12 next month, I miss her preemie little self... not the reflux mind you. hahaha

So sorry to hear about the paint fiasco! It seemed like such a great idea! But taking the decorating room by room is a good idea too...

Cant wait to hear how everything goes for the trip!

Thanks! We borrowed a stroller one weekend, and it took us 30 minutes to figure out how to fold it. We knew we wanted something easy to fold for WDW, and this stroller folds with one hand.

The condo is slowly but surely looking much better. We had carpet installed in Jonah's room today so now we can finally unpack his nursery.

All I can say about the paint now is thank goodness for Goof-Off. We were able to get the paint off of everything.

First of all, congratulations on a happy, healthy boy! Jonah is so adorable and I LOVE his name. One of my favorites! I love the picture of him with the Mickey Ears and the one of him in the overalls. SO CUTE!

It'll be nice to have an extra hand with your mom there. Take advantage of all the Baby Centers there! It looks like Jonah will be about the same age as my nephew when we go in December. We're going almost a month earlier than you and my nephew, Pippin, will be 8.5 months old! I'll let you know how that goes with him!

I've been trying since the morning we were allowed to book ADRs and sadly I haven't come across one. As Disney9.9.10 said, I think a lunch mean will be fine there. I've heard good things about the lunches and considering when you're going the wait time shouldn't be too long with the low crowd levels!

OKW is nice. The theming is very subtle so I think it sometimes gets overlooked, but the room size makes up for it.

I'm so thankful for the help!

Staying at two!

Yep, we’re doing a split stay!

We wanted to stay at OKW during the entire trip by renting points, but with the marathon weekend it wasn't possible. For the first four nights we will be staying at OKW, and then we will transfer to……..

The Wilderness Lodge!

I think it will be nice to be able to take the boat to MK.

We also want to spend an afternoon just relaxing at the wilderness lodge.

Life Update:

This weekend we are going to meet a few friends and Drew’s family in St. Louis.

I am just super excited for a 7+ hour car ride with a teething 5 month old.

Here are some outfits I have packed for Jonah:

We plan to visit the zoo, see a cardinals game, and Jonah will finally get to meet Drew’s grandmother.

I’m going to try to post our Day 1 plans before we leave!

Thanks D~! I hope so as well! At 3 months he quit being able to sleep during car rides, but I'm hoping if we leave fairly early it will help him fall asleep.
