But very happy that everything is working out... That Jonah is feeling better... and you were able to postpone jury duty.

I'm glad that you are getting closer to having Jonah's reflux under control. It is no fun for an adult, so I can't imagine how that poor little guy must feel dealing with that.

I'm sorry about Drew's mom, I hope that she gets some good news from the second surgery.

Looks like things are coming together for your trip! I hope that you are able to have an amazing time!

Hooray! I am so glad his reflux is getting better! And can I just say I feel my blood boil everytime you elude to the weird breast feeding jury duty rule! I am so glad you get to delay jury duty, but as a mother with a small child at home it should not have been that hard! What about women who cannot nurse? It is like the state saying you are less of a mother because you cannot nurse. Okay rant over!

Thanks D~! Oh I know, if jury duty of all things caused me to not be able to go on the trip I would have been pretty upset to say the least.

I am so relieved he is doing better. For a couple of months he didn't even gain weight and was in the 10th percentile, but now he is eating like a champ and finally filling out his clothes for once.

Eeks, it's 8 days now. So not ready!

Thanks Wendy. We're feeling hopeful about my MIL. She is traveling to St. Louis in January to get a second opinion for needing chemo.

Reflux is the worst. I hope you haven't had it too badly. I know during my pregnancy it was so bad I had to start sleeping upright on the couch.

Thank you. We're having to wait a few weeks on her new prognosis, but we feel confident about her new doctor.

It really irks me too. I think that's why I felt so awful after asking to be excused, it felt really personal. I'm sure I'm not the only mom that has experienced this.

I feel like I've known him his whole life - after all, you were only a few months pregnant when I "met" you... So, I am VERY anxious to see all of his firsts at WDW!

Hi Brenda! Thank you so much. It really is a relief, I mean nobody likes jury duty especially if they're having to miss a trip to WDW.

Ah, I am not packed or anything. I really want to do a TR, and plan to take notes to do one. We are so very excited, and it's also going to be difficult to leave now at the same time (I'll explain in a little bit).

I posted this on the disboutiquers thread, but I thought you would especially like this outfit I made for Jonah:

Donald is Drew's favorite. It is my first attempt at applique.

I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who has been reading and posting on my PTR. The holidays have been kind of bittersweet this year, we of course have enjoyed celebrating a first Thanksgiving and Christmas with Jonah, but my grandmother on my Dad's side is currently in the hospital for dehydration and it seems she may have some form of dementia. We are being assured she will fully recover from the dehydration, but it will still be difficult to leave knowing she is not doing well. Our traditional Christmas family lunch was cancelled due to her being in the hospital, but the three of us had a nice Christmas together.

I hope you all are having a fantastic holiday season, a Merry Christmas, and I wish you all a Happy New Year.

First of all... I just LOVE the Donald shirt you made for Jonah! It turned out fantastic! Did you hand applique or embroider it? It's hard to tell from the pic... I love it regardless!

I am very sorry to hear about your grandmother, I sure hope she recovers soon. JOsh has alzheimers that runs in his family - we have had to watch several family members go through it - it's very sad and difficult for everyone. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks D~! It is hand applique. I just cut up one of Jonah's old onesies for the bow and then found some yellow bias tape I had used for another project. The best part is it cost about $6 since I just had to buy that tear away stuff and a blue onesie. I wish I could have started sewing while I was pregnant, I could have saved myself enough for a second Disney trip this year.
