I'm curious too, does anybody have any information on exactly what kind of event this is?

Thanks,
Joshua

This event is at WDW. We went last year and had a great time. It was expensive, around $120/pp. This included the opportunity to buy event merchandise, which was determined by a lottery.

There was a special lecture given by an Imagineer about the history of the Haunted mansion. There was a buffet at various locations. A special dessert of a white chocolate skull filled with candy was passed out at where else... Sleepy Hollow. the headless horseman made several surprise appearances throughout the night. The Haunted mansion was open as well as Thunder Mountain Railroad and I think Splash Mountain.

They had Doom Buggies there with photographers. We had a fun picture taken.

This was a limited attendance event... only 999 guests came. When you exited the park, you were given an event gift which was the Haunted Mansion logo in a black window box frane which lit up in the goulish green color. Very nice.

I hope all who want to go this year will get their registrations in early... good luck, and have FUN!

bonzie1 Thanks for the info!:) We missed out last year by waiting too long.:( Don't want to have the same mistake happen this year. So June 5th is out it is officially June16th now for registration? Does anyone know if is this a 3 day single event or are they having three HHB days. Wasn't last year's just a single day? Guess information is still sketchy. Thanks Mike

Disneyland is holding special events for the HM Holiday makeover at the beginning of October. We were put on a waitlist for one of the special events on the 1st. It was already sold out.:( But going on Oct 2nd.

Well, this is really annoying, since I've already arranged to get in on the 29th and might end up missing more than half the event. I can only hope they'll have three separate events on those nights.

I am going to write back to Event Services attaching their original reply of June 5th... and the single date of 10/27, and ask them what's up with the 3 nights... this is really news to me. Yes, it was only 1 night last year. I can't imagine them having 3 nights of the same thing... and right in a row!

I will update the post when I get a reply. In the meantime, I would keep checking their website everyday for more news. They could just decide to start selling tickets.

I just updated my original post with more HHB info... looks like dinner will be an option. YUM!

Thanks for the update Bonzie1!! DH and I can't wait!! :teeth:

June 16th is our anniversary so what a wonderful anniversary gift it will be if we can log in and grab tickets that day. ;)

Thanks bonzie1 for the update.:)Sounds like they are doing something similar to what Disneyland is doing for the HM makeover.

Heavy sigh *whew* but still thinking about trying to run in early for a dinner...

More info on registering for HHB from Event Services... see my original post. They will post the package info by the end of this week! The countdown has started!

please help; I would love to attend this event but how do you get tickets.Surely they must be available from guest services and not just from the website(which for some reason I can't log onto). Also how can you get tickets to the haunted hayride. thanks daveb

daveb...

i just tried both websites... they are both down right now, but were up earlier in the day. you can call event services for more info, but the word now is that they will be receiving registrations via the website. last year we were able to fax the ressies in. call the number at the top of the post and let us know what you find out. good luck. the 16th is still a way off.

haunted hayride tickets must be purchased at fort wilderness an hour or so before the hayride departs. as i understand it, there are no advanced ticked sales.

Reminder...

Today's the day to register for the HHB... 1:00 pm. Good Luck! I hope you get the packages you want.
