Yes, the preview site is where to go to pick up tickets. It's pretty small but it has a lot of pictures around and video playing. It's also a gift shop. It does get crowded so if you already have your tickets it might not be worth going. I can't remember the street the security entrance is on but it was farther than I thought it would be from the preview site. There are signs posted everywhere to get to it. There is a lot of security to go through. I found it easier going through airport security. We had an early time and it wasn't too crowded but we still waited almost 30 minutes to get through the line. Keep your tickets out until they tell you to put them away. You have to show them about 6 times before you get to the memorial. When you see the memorial make sure and find the survivor tree. It is amazing.
