90 dining ressie question

I have a split stay in September. We check in Sept 4 so today is my 90 day mark. We check out Sept. 11 and check in the same day on a different reservation. I "thought" I could book for 10 days, which would be Sept 4-13. However, the CM said the system won't let me since it is a split stay. She said I have to wait until 90 before Sept. 11. In the past I have always had split stays and had always been able to book my dining the first 10 days even when it bridged a slit stay. So then I told her I at least want to book my dinner reservation for Sept. 11 and she said on check out day you can only book breakfast. Does all this sound correct? I guess this must have changed since we were there last at Christmas/New Years.

I never heard that thing about breakfast only on check out day. That seems wrong to me.

The other part seems to be correct, although you might have better luck with a different CM. CMs have said the new system prevented them from booking the days in the second part of a split stay, but some have reported calling back and being able to do it with a different CM. I do think reports like yours are getting more frequent though, so it seems to be the way of the future.
