It’s sad and frustrating to say that despite all precautions, three of the 4 of us have caught Covid and all within 90 days of our 8/12 sailing. (My oldest caught it the last day of classes of his senior year. I jokingly told him he did it wrong; if he was going to catch Covid he should have done it 2 weeks before the end of classes, not the start of his senior summer vacation! I then caught it from him. My husband then caught it just recently on our way back from Australia and is now on Day 9 of recovery, even though he was masked on the flights and all tours. Thankfully we all tested negative for that, and have continued to test negative, so none of us caught it. I miss my bed and can’t wait till my husband is 10 days past recovery…)
Anyway… looking at the 90 day recovery forms, it says that we have to have the DOB on the test results. We didn’t bother with PCRs because our home tests were very clearly positive and we all had symptoms/were sick with fevers. The iHealth app has a record of our positive tests, but the record doesn’t include our DOB, even when I select the “send to Doctor.” We did send the records to the CDC via the app, which I imagine would include our DOBs, but I can’t see a copy of that. Does anyone know if we can use the iHealth records and just include our DOB? Is there a way to get the record sent to the CDC? Could we have our doctors office just confirm the positive result with our DOBs?
We still plan to test ahead of the cruise, but I figured if I could do the 90 day recovery, I could save ourselves the cost of proctored tests for 3 out of 4 of us.
