9 or 10 person van rental at Port Canaveral?

I've never rented a car or van at Port Canaveral before. Extended family going on the Disney Dream this summer, but we all fly out of MCO later in the day when we disembark. We were thining about renting a vehicle and going to Disney Springs for a few hors during the day before heading to the airport. Does anyone know if it's possible to rent a 9 or 10 person van at/near the port, then return it later that day at MCO?

I've not seen 12 passenger vans sitting on the lots of the rental companies near the Port but I know those size vans can readily be rented by Budget, National, Alamo and the usual bunch. You may have to call them to arrange the rental since the over-sized van will be repositioned from Orlando.

If there is a problem then you can always book a private shuttle van from PC to Orlando airport (or nearby rental stations) and pick the van there. It will take just as much time as picking the van in PC although you have to deal with luggage twice! The big issue is the safekeeping of your luggage and a rental van is good for that while sightseeing.

Another option that may be cheaper would be to rent two minivans one way and split everyone up into two vehicles. I have seen minivans for about $100 for a day from PC to MCO. That may be cheaper and offer more room as you would have the extra room for luggage.
