Thank you. Yeah... in the beginning I found Cecilia sooo different from Beatriz but now I can kinda see the similarities. We were discussing the possibility of a future trip to WDW the other day and Beatriz asked me if she could dress up as Elza and Cecilia as Anna. I thought it was cute.

Right now our family has a serious case of Disney fever. We really want to go back asap. We are planning a trip to Brazil in December though so I am not sure how we will be able to fit Disney in but boy oh boy I would go tomorrow if I could.... newborn and all.

Boatwrights was the dining highlight of our trip. I guess not a lot of people would be willing to get out of their way to try it so it is a bit of a hidden gem but for anyone staying nearby (POR or OKW) it should be a must-do!

it must be fabulous to be able to plan for wee princesses at Disney . just wont work with teenage boys !!!!!

If you get the chance to post more pictures of the girls that would be lovely to see.

I watched Frozen on dvd when it came out here in the uk as well as going to see it in the cinema twice! with my friend and her young daughter, it was fabulous.

you will get back to Disney before you know it xx

TO DISNEY NOW OR TO DISNEY LATER- HELP ME DECIDE!

Day 5- Thursday- Aug. 30th 2012- Flying solo at Magic Kingdom - part 1

So our friends decided to take the morning off the parks but we were up bright and early to enjoy some sweet MK EMH morning.

The plan was to meet them back for our 1pm reservation at Crystal Palace. I have to add that I did leave them with a detailed plan of the rides they should try to hit that morning.

So we headed straight to Fantasyland and got quite a few rides done right off the bat.

Beatriz and Joey also rode the tea cups and right before they went on it Alice was riding it with some guests:

Alice came out for some mingling after and we got some great shots:

Then we were off to the Barnstormer (Beatriz' first roller coaster experience):

She loved it:

So much so we did it again. Look out for the pink bow:

Then we were off to explore the new Dumbo. I used to dread the Dumbo line but now...wow...what an improvement!!!!!! Even though there was no waiting at that point we allowed Beatriz to take her time and explore the play room:

Crowds were low so we did ride it twice in a row too.

Even though I have no pictures of it at this point we also did the Phillharmagic for the second time on that trip.

So by now it was mid morning and we were feeling pretty accomplished!!!! I am not sure if it was the EMH low crowd or if it was the fact that we were flying solo and being more effective than on the previous days but it did feel like we had wings on our sneakers. We made our way out of Fantasyland back into the hub just as the big crowds were coming in.

Day 5- Thursday- Aug. 30th 2012- Flying solo at Magic Kingdom - part 2 So we were off to Adventureland! We got to meet Peter Pan for the first time ever and the interaction with Beatriz was just awesome!!

And then... we were ready for a dole whip of course! Joey got one to share with Beatriz but she ended up pretty much claiming the whole thing for herself!

Then we realized there was nobody in line for the magic carpet so... why not...

During this ride Joey and I started singing "A Whole New World" as a duet and Beatriz begged us to stop. Apparently we were embarrasing the four year old. We have time to spare so let's just go into The Tiki Room:

Joey is drafting his Fantasy Football team as we wait in line:

He was living the dream combining both his passions in one sweet moment. So I had been to the Tiki room before but it was a first for Joey and Beatriz. I thought it was a good time to get them schooled on Disney classics and we did not regret it. Great air conditioned break and a must do for real Disney park fans. At least once!

The Tiki room song remains one of Bea's favourite Disney park songs to this date. "In the tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki room, in the tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki room...." So by now we are ready for more action and Beatriz is ready to try a real big girl roller coaster so we head out to...

We did not have FP's for Thundermountain but they were announcing only a 20 minute wait for it so we got in line.

I have to say the waiting felt a lot longer than that:

Finally, it was time. We were in the very back of the train and it was Bea's official initiation in the world of WDW roller coasters.

It was a success and we felt great to have finally crossed that line and we can enjoy rides together. ​

I love early EMH, and you really can get a lot done when you are in control of your own destiny and not worried about others.

Too funny about Joey drafting his football team at the Tiki Room. One of my son Nate's first FF teams was in Joey's league. Last year I think he was managing 8 teams!

So glad you had a fun interaction with Peter Pan. We haven't met many characters, but my boys were in the play Peter Pan together and he and Hook are characters I would love to meet.

The Tiki Room song is the best part of the attraction. I used to have a Disneyland record album (an actual 33) with park music and that was my favorite song on there.

AWESOME selfie on the rise on BTM. I need to try that.

Did Beatriz love it? She is going to be a little thrill junkie!
