9 days 2 resorts FREE Dining Christmas Lights & a bouncing Tigger who stole my heart

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Ooooohhh, me too.

That's why I never post. I read and then say that I will post after I see pictures - which sometimes doesn't happen for a few days. :sad2:

But now - I am just going to post as I am reading just so I can get my .02 cents in. :lmao:

Always glad to have your 2 cents! :rotfl:

Great updates and happy to hear you had a nice Christmas. I'm sure your boys are loving that Wii. Toy Story Mania is so fun too :goodvibes. Anyway I enjoyed your MK and Piano bob updates and video.I love Kona for breakfast Tonga Toast is the best. Your family picture is too cute.

Hey Nicole! Funny I was just thinking about you. I was trying to remember when your next trip was and wondering if you were going to do a PTR/TR. Looking for good TR's to hold me over until the next trip! :goodvibes

Glad you are enjoying the TR!

Kona looks yummy!! And what a great deal! :thumbsup2

I'm glad you showed the inside of the Tonga Toast though... I thought I would like it based on the before pictures I've seen, but I didn't realize there were actual bananas inside there - I'll have to re-think ordering that if given the opportunity. :snooty: Sorry... I know it's a DIS favorite...

I had always seen the pictures of the Tonga Toast "before" too. Never seen the inside of it. That's why I took the picture for everybody. I was a little afraid of what was actually in there. I was glad it was just plain bananas and not some type of banana pudding or mushy bananas!

OOH, now I might try Tonga Toast after all! I was concerned that it would be too "banana-y". I can't believe how cheap it was! I think on our next trip, we might do Kona for bkfst OOP and save a TS for CRT. Hmmm....

Come on over to my newly established TR - link is in my siggie. It's in it's newborn stage, but I'm working on it! I couldn't figure out how to make the title my link, so this is what I got. I am so techno-ignorant!

Yum! The breakfast pics look great - that's my fav meal of the day so we might have to try it.

BTW, the Christmas pictures look great. My son has been on our Wii WAY too much since Christmas day. It's addictive! Your son's must be having a ball.

I'd like to get the Super Mario Bros game for the Wii. I'm sure that would bring back memories!! :rotfl: Weren't the 80's the best?!

I have it - it's AWESOME!! And it pulls bits and pieces from all incarnations of Mario Bros (except Mario Bros 2 - thankfully!), even the one they released with the DS. And you can use the Wii remote like the old school controller or with the Nunchuk attached.

Also - it's very addictive!!! I bet if you wait a bit, you'll be able to get it used from EB Games (if there's one near you) instead of paying full price - it is a bit pricey as far as Wii games go.

Nope, it's not too banana-y! That's what I was afraid of too.

I made my way to your TR. Looks great! :thumbsup2 Can't wait for more!

Thank you! :goodvibes

Yes, the boys logged 3 1/2 hours on the Wii today! :scared1: Apparently you can some how see how many hours a day you are on it. They are going to be so disappointed when school starts back up and they go back to just having 30 minutes of video game time a day!

I may have to get DS10 the Mario Bros game for his birthday in April! :rotfl: Hopefully I can find it used by then. We don't have EB Games here, but we have the Game Stop, where we can buy used games.

good Morning!
I'm at Starbucks....:goodvibes
Haven't read ANYthing....
going now to catch up on EVERYthing.........;)

Be right back.

You should definitely get Mario for the boys Shelly. I am not a video game person - and I love it! We play it at all of our 'games nights' with our friends.

It's not quite as PG as if kids were playing it. :lmao: But it is sooo much fun.

My friends call it 'The Divorce Game' because they are super competitive ans you can pick each other up and throw people or jump on their heads in this game. LOL. It's a lot of fun.

So was Toy Story Mania. I want that one too! My aunt got it for Christmas and we played for a little on Christmas! :goodvibes

OMGosh-- I'm so ready for my Kona Breakfast and Epcot day!:goodvibes You are definitely feeding my need.:lmao: I've always wondered about the inside of the Tonga toast-- I thought the bananas would be all mushy. Does it taste like Bananas Foster??? It looks really sweet- I'm sure I'd be ill after eating it... but man... I think I'd take one for the team for that.:rotfl2:

I'm glad you asked to be moved. That is just ridiculous the way they seat people there with loud people on the other side of you. Stupid.
When we ate dinner there- we sat at the table that was directly over you DH's shoulders.:goodvibes

Looking forward to the Monorail to Epcot (My favorite ride:lovestruc love the way it goes into Epcot) and then of course...... Epcot.

Jo

PS.... Morning RF!

Not sure I've ever had banana foster. . . Tonga Toast is very sweet. And filling. We didn't have lunch that day!

That was the first time we entered Epcot on the monorail - it was very cool!

"Some" of us are still shopping.....:lmao:

This trip I was planning on heading over to the TTC for the Epcot Monorail after our O'hana breakfast. So I am so excited to read your experience! :surfweb:popcorn::

Wow that sounds like a perfect Christmas morning breakfast! :cloud9:

I am sure the Wii will be smoking by the end of the day! :lmao:

It's smoking alright!! They did give it a little break, only long enough to eat lunch though. :lmao:

Thanks Kim! :goodvibes The Wii was a big hit. They are playing it right now. It's been a great incentive for good behavior too! :rotfl:

I bet he is so happy & proud to have bought the game himself! We do the same thing, the boys have to save their own money and buy their own toys/video games. If it's not Christmas or their birthday, we don't buy it! It teaches them so much.

Santa was going to bring it for Christmas but was already done shopping by the time DS asked for it. I made sure my sister gave him a gift card to put towards it so he could reach his $50 goal and buy it right after Christmas. ;) I may have to start saving my dollars for the Mario Bros. game. That was my favorite Nintendo game back in the day!

I made little Wii tokens for DS as a behavior incentive. Each is worth 10 minutes of game time and that's how he gets to play. It's really helped with his behavior. I used to take the games away and his behavior would get better but then as soon as he was given them back, it would go downhill again. This way he earns time or can lose time and it's going well so far!

Tonga Toast looks yummy! I may have to get that cookbook Drakes was talking about and try out the recipe! Or just go to Poly in a little over 3 weeks and get it there! :woohoo:
