It’s a milestone birthday weekend for me and my travel partner will be celebrating hers 2 months early. We’ve been to WDW together many times and we thought we’d change it up with our first ever DCL trip! I’ve cruised to Nassau before on RC but this will be the first time for her.

We usually bring her teen daughter but the teen opted to stay home with grandma (and her friends, more likely) so it will be just us for now. We’re looking forward to hopefully getting some quiet time in at the spa but the whole ship looks amazing so I’m sure everything else will be a highlight too.

Is anyone out there joining us? It’s always fun to meet new disboard friends!

Are you still booked for this cruise? My husband and I will be there, checking in at 11:30am. We met new people on our last cruise on the Fantasy in May. They will be on this cruise also and the one after. Have a great time celebrating your birthdays! We have never done the spa. Trying to talk him into a RainForest day pass if they are available.

12 Day 4 - Sea Day/Go home

We're sailing on the Disney Dream these same dates (the above is our itinerary) and I was curious if our boat had a travel buddy. lol

Almost! We’re in Nassau on the 10th and Castaway Cay on the 11th so we should be in relatively close proximity a few times. Now I‘m wonder if they pass close enough to see the other ship!

We are and our PAT is also 11:30 - I stayed up fighting with the spinning circle of doom for over an hour on the check-in day but it worked out in the end. We’re staying in Orlando on the night of the 8th and then taking a shuttle to the port that morning, most likely. We’ll be in a bumpout family verandah room in the midsection of the 9th floor. Our luggage tags just arrived and now we’re counting down the days!

Same here with the blue circle of doom, finally got it all done in 1.5 hours. We have a front bump out room also but on deck 10 starboard side, a standard room with the angled balcony.
