Hi Goofyguy777 ~ Your video is awesome!!!! Any body who can't get in the mood to cruise with Mickey after watching that better move to Cunard! Can't wait to meet you. Save some of that shopping money for Castaway Cay....

Hi Dolores,

We will be on the Barbados Beach Day tour. Yes, I did book it online.

Thank you guys!!

I was interested in the Beach day thing for Barbados. As Ally is 4 she would be free...is anyone doing this? Did you already book online? I was going to book it online.

We live in Oregon.

:wave2: Hi karylrocks from a fellow Oregonian.

Welcome to all the newbies, we are gathering quite a few people as we get closer to the cruise :grouphug: We will be having one big party :thumbsup2

My fish extender goodies arrived yesterday and I'm so excited. Four more weeks and we'll be in Disneyworld celebrating our 25th anniversary at the Castle with Cinderella :goodvibes

GoofyGuy777 - One of the first things I did when we decided on this cruise was to watch your and Diznylnd's videos. I hate to sound corny but they almost made me cry - it just seems like this group is going to be so much fun and friendly! I am having to leave my DIS group that I have been getting to know for the past 8 months getting ready for the Holiday cruise, which is hard. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you! DH and DS are not into this "DIS" thing, but I got DH into the idea of door signs, so he has been hard at work for the past 18 hours making some! He is a Goofy fan also, and has adopted "GoofyDoc" as his nickname for the cruise. DS doesn't know yet that we switched cruises; we just got home from picking him up at the airport after a week long missionary trip in Baja, so we will get around to telling him some time this weekend after he gets used to being back. He was really looking forward to cruising at Christmas, so this might be difficult.

Thanks for the info Steve....now I have to decide if I want to change Palo reservations since mine falls on tropical night!!!!

Can someone tell us more about Tropical night? Our reservation at Palo is also on Tropical night. Did you change yours, Pooh Friend # 1? Ours is for 9:00 pm. What fun will we be missing at Tropical night or will we make it in time to participate? Help???? Advice????

Here's the photo of my fish extender. Now I need to work on getting the gifts for everyone...
I'm also checking eBay to find some extra pins to trade. Any other "tin crack" addicts out there?

Hi - I love your fish extender! I have lots of pins...but I've never traded ....Maybe I can reevaluate the situation though for this cruise knowing that other DISers will appreciate them too!

Hi all - please count us me & DH (Bob) in for the wine party. DH just found a winery near his work and this is the perfect excuse to try it out.

I cant believe we sail in a little over 4 weeks. I better start drafting my letter to the school so they excuse my kids absences. Either way we are going but it would be much better if they consider them excused so the kids can make up their work

Count Jeff and me in for the wine tasting. We do have some wineries here in Wisconsin but then tend to be weird fruitty things...but if you are game, we are, too!

Does DCL have any restrictions about bringing wine aboard? How many bottles is each person bringing for the tasting?

Which doesn't sound like a bad idea either!:rotfl:

If you're nice you could sit in my room and have Palo for room service! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

If it would make him feel better to get to know some of the other teens that are on the cruise PM me with his email addy and I'll forward it to my 15dd Pirana. Or let me know and you can PM her directly -- she won't read PM's that she doesn't know the sender. There are a couple of boys his age on the cruise that she's been talking to... Plus some girls! ;)

Stepht5- What time is the party/wine tasting in the Cat 1 room....(still harassing you about that) :rotfl2: . I hope you can convince you DB to come . (why would need to convince anyone to come on a Disney Cruise :confused3 .... :rotfl2:) on by the way...great job on keeping that roster up. That must just be a full time job!

We can decide this week! :thumbsup2 Should it be the second or third *at sea* day? About 3 or 4pm? Or do some of you not start drinking before 5pm. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: In our family we say *It's noon somewhere*. :lmao:
Dh's first response when I mentioned the idea was to suggest a quick trip to one of the local wineries!

And lately it has been a fulltime job keeping up the roster! :rotfl: Luckily I seem to be pretty lazy around the house so, I have the time!

If you are really going shopping with the *girls* today you are quite the MAN! DH would have volunteered to stay home with the little girls so, that he didn't have to shop. :teeth:

Dh and 2 of the kids (15dd & 8ds) went to see POC2 and should be back any moment.

I've been working on the Fish Extenders!

I don't think they have any restrictions. I was thinking 1 bottle per couple would be enough -- we don't want anyone getting sick from too much wine!

What is your first name?

PM me to let me know who all would like to do this, ok? I can keep a running list like I have for the Lunch Ladies & the Roster.

StephT5 & DH, probably 23dd Tink_9 & 26ds frogjelly
HiYaPal Linda and DH Jeff
winnyis Ginny and DH Bob
micmse2003 Cheryl & John
leira1989 Valerie & Terry
karylrocks Carol
daipp David & Helen
smola09's mom Heidi & Todd

And, yes, I know there are more of y'all but, that would mean I would have to search the last half dozen pages....SO, instead PM me! LOL! Please! I've been clearing out my PM's so that no one will get a *full* message! :rotfl:

I'm Linda and my husband is Jeff! Sorry, I didn't put that in the PM.

You attach them to the Fish on your stateroom door -- it is where messages can be left for you. And you are not too late! :teeth: Have you been on a DCL cruise? The only pic of a door I have doesn't show the fish! UGH!

Thanks! Now I get it! :thumbsup2 If there is any chance we find out our cabin sooner, we'll let you know.

A little bit about us...I started cruising back in the Love Boat era. Then later as a dancer/choreographer, I worked on cruise ships running kids programs in the 80's (when there wasn't Disney ships...if there were I would have been on them!!! ) Back in my 20's I auditioned for Disney several times ....but I am just slightly taller than Mickey and the same height as Pinocchio, but being a dancer, my legs were not twig like! So, I ended up spreading the magic as a Disney Store cast member for nine years. My husband took his first cruise earlier this year and is hooked. This will be our third cruise since February and we are going on another one in December, however, we have never cruised with Mickey. This cruise is replacing one we were going to take in Feb 2007. I have always wanted to cruise DCL but since it is pricey and we don't have little ones, it seemed wise to try other lines. But this cruise was just too good to pass up. I am so excited to be able to experience the Disney magic again on the Wonder with all of you! It is going to be great... :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

My 15dd wants to be a CM (she's a Ballet dancer and acts in local theater) BUT, she's too tall to be one of the female characters! :sad2: She's right under 5'9". She would  to be a Face Character!
