9/7/06 10 night Wonder Southern Caribbean "Cruising in WONDERland!"

Evening !!

If I get Helen to post, she'll tell you a funny story about girls and Alex on the cruise. She'll also tell you about the visit to Ikea that I thought would cost me £70.00 but ended up costing me nearly £800.00

Anyway, for the last few days we have been carefully thinking about doing the Med East bound repo but have now finally decided against it - mainly because I can't be bothered to sort out the flights from Barcelona to the UK (after flying to the States, two hours is a dream).

Alex is away for a week with his school tomorrow - they're going to Derbyshire for some caving, mounaineering, and other things you do on a geography field-trip.

Been busy over the weekend changing Bethan's bedroom around - I never realised that a 7 year old needed as many clothes as she's got. She has a new bed and also some new Mickey curtains.

Finally, before I go here's a photo of my rice pudding (one of my favourites) from the last cruise.

Guess who I talked to today? Amy! We decided to be roomies for the EB Repo Cruise ! Amy will continue to check for available cabins...maybe they will even offer TA rates as it gets closer!

I called yesterday after we talked. There is only a waiting list for the cats 1-4. Nothing else. He said to just keep our eyes out for a cabin to open up.

LOL this idea actually crossed my mind a few weeks back, but I didn't know where Crystal stood with the boys. I'm getting excited now. I've already called the month of August 2008. That way my parents won't plan anything for that month.

I did the math on that last night! Poor David! When I went to Scotland last year, I decided I like vacationing in 3rd world countries. As my money went longer! I know with Ireland, I have to decided how much I will spend and then double it.

Claire & Brian share a room right now -- Jon is trying to talk me into giving up my scrabook/craft room and turn it back into a bedroom for Claire. We'll see! LOL!

Oh, just looking it over and it looks to be fun!! I don't think the Liberty comes out until May, so I'm guessing they have a few things to still work out.


I'm not worried about yall giving up Disney! But it doesn't hurt to branch out some.

How could you ever give up your craft/ scrapbooking room. It took me years to get one. I actulally have a part of the family room too because I get lonely in the room by myself. I just use the room to store my "STUFF."

Speaking of which we need to talk about the scrapbooking for The EBPC. Lisa wants the information for the new website. It will be on the front page and we can annouce on the thread too.

It took me years, also! I took this bedroom before we had Elvis..... Originally I was going to take the room that Elvis & Claire now share -- I'm glad I didn't because it is 15x15 and I would have had to give it up sooner! LOL! Samantha told me that she doesn't care if Claire shares a room with her instead. All of Claire's toys are downstairs in the den/familyroom (we don't have basements here) so, it is just her dresser & bed. Her and Elvis like sharing right now -- except when Elvis is trying to sleep and Claire keeps yakking at him!
