Ok yall I have come home to ones worst nightmare. So I guess I'll start here asking for prayers. My best friend lives in Southern CA. I talked to him via email in Antigua for a bit and everything seemed find. I knew I hadn't got an email from him in several days, so I knew something was up. I get home and come to find out I was one of the last persons to talk to him. He was last seen on the 15th. His family has filed a missing person report and they have done a community canyon search yesterday. I've spent all afternoon on the phone with his family and different friends trying to pinpoint where he might be. But so far no luck. I talked to his mother and she has given up all hope in finding him alive. Myself and a few others aren't to that point yet. We are all just in stand by mode.

But I thought some pixie dust and some prayers might help.

Pixie dust coming your way, Amy

Amlee.... prayers and pixiedust coming your way

Cheryl & John... CONGRATULATIONS! and I'm right there with you on the unpacking... I probably won't get to it until the weekend too.

Everyone... we had a WONDERful trip... thanks to everyone for all the great fish extender gifts and all the warm smiles and happy memories. I"ve got lots of pictures to keep me scrapping and dreaming until my next cruise ...which we won't book until after OUR grandbaby is born. :teeth:

Amlee: Pixie dust and prayers coming your way for you and your friend. Where in So. California?

Cheryl and John: Congratulations to you all! This is sooooo exciting! I'm sure Anthony has the best grandparents in the world. Hugs to you all.

Linda: Yes, wouldn't it have been really nice to have them participate with us. Oh well.....

Thank you all for the prayers and pixie dust. Still no word as of yet. We are just trying to put the pieces together to see if we can come up with something. We are trying to track down some of his internet friends to see if any of those have seen or heard from him. But that is turning into a huge process.

Celia, he is in Dana Point just north of you.

CONGRATS TO THE NEW GRANDPARENTS!!

Just a quickie post to thank everyone for the wonderful and FUN fish extender gifts. It was always fun to find something in them. I didn't get to meet very many of you. I guess DCL kept us too busy!

What was to be a 4 hour trip back home ended up being EIGHT hours. We are all exhausted. I don't think I want to see another airplane in a very long time. Poor Heidi had to turn around and fly to Houston for work on Monday. There she sat on the plane waiting to take off for an hour. She had problems with the shuttle service in Houston. Poor thing. She just wants to come back to Denver and sleep in her own bed.

Alex and Carolyn have another 11 days on the Wonder. Jealous....me????? You betcha. We ended up having a fantastic time with them. They are such sweeties. Jill and Matt.....had fun with the turtles and turtle shopping afterwards. Dudettes....never could cruise without you three. Love you to death. Stephanie....sorry we didn't meet up with you on the ship but talking to you at the airport was fun. Steve....I was very happy to have met you. Seeing your smile around the ship was always nice. And that precious Shelby....WOW! And for the rest of you, hopefully we can meet again.

We had an awesome time. Our honeymoon, close friends, happy times, awesome cruise!!

Are we going to trade pictures? That would be wonderful!!

I took a few pictures of the Muppeteers coming on board the ship. I posted them on the Muppets bulletin board and they love them.

Does anyone have more pictures of Muppets or Muppeteers on the ship? Or film of the Muppet show? I'm sure they would be very interested in seeing them.

Can someone repost the CD swap information. I'm working on getting our pictures together and I'm not sure what I was suppose to do. Just trying to stay busy.

Sadly, the couple who sailed with us (they were celebrating their honeymoon) were fighting non-stop (actual physical fights) and we felt it best not to subject anyone else to the drama. For those of you we did not meet, our apologies.

How sad :guilty: for them ... and you. I'm sorry you guys had to deal with that

CONGRATS- Cheryl and JOhn! I hope you all have already given him his first Mickey. :mickeyjum

My wife Monica is a huge fan of cooking shows and of fine dining. Monica is also very curious to learn about how everything works and how the Disney Wonder can output so many dinners in such a short amount of time. We inquired with Rodrigo, our concierge, about a Galley Tour but were saddened to learn that they had none scheduled for this trip. On the day of our visit to St. Thomas, we received a call from Steve the Executive Chef that we were invited to a private galley tour with him just prior to the first dining seating.

We visited a number of the galleys and storage areas and had a great talk-down about what it takes to serve over 8000 meals each day on the Disney Wonder. I had met Steve previously on the Disney Magic in July of 2005 and he could not have been nicer to us. It was a real treat to see the kitchen while it was in use so you can truly get an idea of the hard work that goes into the wonderful meals. Rodrigo later told us that they had so many requests for Galley Tours that they held several public tours later in the week.

Wow - that is really surprising that you were given information by your concierge that there were no galley tours scheduled. We inquired at the Guest Services desk upon boarding and were informed that galley tours were scheduled for the 3rd and 4th days at sea and no tickets would be needed. Maria at GS also called our stateroom later that day to confirm that information. However, later in the week they did indeed decide to issue tickets for the tour due to the number of inquiries they received. The tours were very well organized and our group only had eight people, so we were able to ask many questions. And, yes, the cookies were YUMMY! Some of my favorite photos were the ones I took of the plating charts which show all of the Triton menu selections.

The bridge tour was also fascinating. It was given by Ian. Did anyone else notice how energetic Ian was? WOW. I keep remembering him and saying to myself that I too could have that much energy if I just tried. :yay:

Hi everyone. Thanks to all for the congrats on baby Anthony. Cheryl has not really been able to post because we have Genevieve at our house. She has spent the last 2 nights sleeping at our house. Last night her daddy stopped by on his way home from the hospital to she her. Her daddy asked her if she wanted to go home to sleep in her bed, and her reply was, NOOOOOOOOOO I want to sleep at Mema & Poppy house. Cheryl and her have been having a great time. Dina and baby will be going home today, (Wednesday), and Cheryl will go there and spend at least the rest of today and overnite to help Dina out. Never relized how much a 2 year old can wear out a couple of 60 year olds.

Yesterday on my way home from work I almost hit a deer, but instead took out a road horse. Hope it's only minimal damage.

Cheryl will be sure to post as soon as thinks calm down.

John

Thanks again for all the congrats, we both miss everyone and wish we were still cruisin.
I keep finding myself looking for the buffet.

Although we love our Concierce Rodrigo, there were a few things he was wrong on. That being said, I am perfectly fine with the misinformation as it allowed us a very private tour on Sunday while the kitchen was actually in use. Glad you had fun during your tour!
