9/6 HEA fireworks

I feel like I saw threads asking about various dates and no scheduled HEA fireworks. However, I can’t find these now.

Does anyone know why there are no fireworks scheduled for 9/6 at MK? It’s not a party day. I’d like to see HEA again this trip if I can.

It’s a mystery non-HEA day, for some reason. I ‘assume’ it could be a CM appreciation or some other special event that night, but hard to say. Disney is so bad with giving us accurate calendar and event info that far out these days, it’s hard to tell. It could also just be bum info and it’ll get added to the calendar.

I wondered if it would be a cast appreciation day. There was one on a Thursday when I went at the end of November.

Related (?) I was able to get a BOG reservation at 4:50 on that day. Last time it was cast appreciation, I believe MK closed at 4.

Yeah, what I don’t get is the seemingly regular park closing time, but also no HEA. That sort of adds to the mystery.

I do note that date does not show up in blue on the MK dessert party calendars (which were just recently added), so another indicator of no HEA. But those dates haven’t become bookable yet, so hard to draw firm conclusions there either.

Also, that Thursday was originally published with a 6pm closing time, which was later revised to 9pm. So maybe just some leftover quirk. Total speculation though.

Sounds nice, but there is no such thing as a CM appreciation day at MK. What you may be thinking of is the event where only CMs celebrating a milestone service anniversary of 10, 15, 20 years, etc, are invited to a bash at MK. This year it falls on Nov 5th. But I do like the "CM Appreciation Day" idea.

The whole thing made me switch our last MK day to 9/7. I'm staying away from there lol.

Fair enough. That must be what I’m thinking about. MK closed at 4:30 on Nov. 30 when I was there.
