9:40pm Ohana too late?

We have a romantic dinner ADR for Ohana at 9:40 pm in May. Wishes is at 10:00 so i was planning watching Wishes from our table Ohana's window during dinner but I am worried guests will not want to leave their tables (understandably) and will be waiting to also enjoy wishes. So maybe the tables will be full during wishes regardless i my ADR time?
I also dont mind showing up early and hanging out at the bar for an hour or two before our ADR to enjoy drinks so hopefully they would seat us as soon as our table was available

. Any experience with a late ADR fir Ohana?
Do the pagers work on the beach if our table wasnt ready yet??
Will the food still be comming around hot??
Also has any construction started in the waterfall in the lobby?

No personal experience as I travel with children who should definitely not be in a restaurant at 9:40pm but just a thought. If the goal is to see the fireworks from the Poly, I think I'd prefer something around an 8:30 reservation and then head out to the beach to try to watch the fireworks. We've eaten there. There's just no guarantee your table will be in view of the castle.

There are only a limited number of tables with a view of Wishes and even though it is late, almost everyone with a good table won't be leaving until after Wishes is over so I would not count on seeing the fireworks from inside 'Ohana.

'Ohana consistently books up fully and tends to run behind schedule so even though you arrive an hour or two before your reservation, you probably won't be seated very early. We've seen early arriving guests asked to return at their reservation time.

When we've been there, the pagers didn't have a very far range. We were told to remain on the second floor.
