9:30pm ressie at Cali Grill - can we watch the 9pm Wishes?

Will we be allowed up to the Cali Grill before our seating time of 9:30 so we can catch Wishes from the upper deck? If not, what would the best way to view Wishes that night (if possible) without using a day on our tickets since we arrive later in the afternoon? Thanks!

I have read on these boards that sometimes they do not let you up to the restaurant that far in advance of your reservation.

I would still arrive at the CR at about 8:15-8:30 and try to officially check-in at the podium. If they will allow you up to CA Grill, great. You can watch from the Obs Deck there.

If not - I heard from a waitress at the Outer Rim Lounge in the CR that there is also an Obs Deck on the 6th Floor - maybe someone here can confirm that. She said it's the 2nd best place to watch the fireworks (after CA Grill).

When we went there in June we had 6:10 ressies, but checked in at 5:30 when they were just opening up. Now granted, we were the second table to be seated so there was no problem checking-in early. All I can say is to try, you have to check-in 15 mins before your ADR anyway, so try to check-in at 8:30 and then you should be able to go straight up, but may have to wait for your table there. If that is the case, then you will have no problems seeing Wishes. Even if you are at your table when Wishes starts and you want to go outside, just let your server know and they will hold your table while you watch.

I would recommend you go to the observation deck on the 4th floor. As the time for Wishes approaches, I find the CG to become a MADHOUSE of people waiting for their ADR's and trying to catch a glimpse of the fireworks.

I think you would have a much more enjoyable experience if you did the observation deck and then head back to CG to enjoy your meal afterwards.

You will not have any problem,the 2nd floor check in cms are great.....or you can simply say that you would like to go on up to the bar and have a drink,they will give you a pager and off you go.the cat walk is great for veiwing,if you dont have a window seat.was just there on 9/17/07,what a great experience.
