9/27/09 Wonder 4 night Cruise

This is my first cruise and I'm hoping to be able to chat with other shipmates for the cruise.

Our party includes me(40) dh(42) dd(3) and dgs(2) {dear grandson}

I'm so excited to see someone else on here that's going on the same cruise. This is our first Disney Cruise also.

We had a great experience getting DD's passport....10 days from application to in our hands.

I really hope their will be more on board and we all can get together and meet and maybe do a Fish Extender. I have a bunch of stuff so far to give out esp Mardi Gras beads from the parades here in town.

We are waiting on DH's passport...hopefully we will have it this week, then we get mine next month.

I'm looking for fabric to make a FE --- what would make good "stuffers"?

Are you getting the kids passports? I am on the fence about getting my kids passports. Only becsause it's a 4 day cruise.

I can't believe its been two weeks since I was on the ship on my first cruise. Now I have to wait until the end of Sept. How will I make it?

FE stuffies - candy, note pad, tiny purell (or other anti-biotic) bottles, pencils/pens, etc.

I made some magnet stuff for the doors for my first FE.

There must be a good number that booked cat 12 as I was already on GTY status when I booked onboard two weeks ago. Only way I can afford it as I travel solo.

Kristi can't wait to meet you. This will be my family first time cruising and we are so excited. We also booked a cat 12 as it's the cheapest they had for a family of 5. actually we had to get 2 rooms which is fine by me. We will all be in one and use the other as storage space. Hopefully we'll get a nice upgrade.

I too have been getting some cool FE gifts. I'm trying not to get too many before I know exactly how many people will be participating.

This will be our first DCL experience and I am way super excited!!!

I (30) will be traveling with my DH (36) and our DD (3).

Will you be doing the 3 night before or after the cruise? I'm hoping to go to the parks after the cruise, but haven't made any plans yet. The Food and Wine festival at Epcot should be starting the day after the cruise gets back. That's reason enough for me to go -

Where I live a cold front came through and now we are back to heaters at night.

Sorry I've been gone so long Kristi & Meredith...I just started back to college & it's so much harder than I remembered!!!!

If we are the only one's going, we should all be upgraded to the ritzy suites

We were given this trip as a gift, so we are in a Cat 8...but please don't leave us out!!!!! I haven't made up my FE yet ....Joanne's only has blanket type Disney fabrics right now, so I'm searching online for something more appropriate.

Thanks for the ideas for FE gifts.....I wasn't quite sure what to start picking up.

I wanted to know if any of you are planning on dressing up for Pirates in the Carribean? Hubby said he would if he knew we wouldn't be the only ones decked out in pirate gear.

I'm off to get my passport next week, only one more to go!! whoot whoot.

- btw Meredith, according to our travel agent, all travelers will be required to have a passport after June 1, 2009. Right now the turnaround time has only been about 10 days, but I expect that the closer we get to June, the longer the turnaround time will be.

Over the next week I'll post some pics of the door magnets I've made for DD...mabey we can come up with a door magnet design just for us?

Just booked today. Can't wait. Decided to wait until free dining came up. Now we r booked for 3 nights in WDW and 4 night Wonder. Saved alot of money. can't believe entire trip is only $2000......YIPPEE!!!!!

This is our 3 Wonder cruise and we r addicted. We have 7 night Magic booked Oct 2010. This will gives us a taste of heaven until next year.

Impatiently waiting now.

Can't wait to book Palo's dinner and brunch.

Trying to keep it all a secret from kids.
