Hi Folks.

On 9/24 I'm visiting Universal for the first time in over a decade. Based on internet research I think my order of attraction with wait times in mind should be:

Simpsons
Mummy
MIB
hop to IOA
Spiderman
Jurassic park.

Is this the best way to go?

I'm also considering using the valet parking option just because were are not familiar with the grounds.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks ahead of time.

No, terrible idea. Always go with IOA First. Lines for USF, in my experience, dont tend to get very busy until late afternoon. I would start off at Marvel, and go clockwise. If you're going to miss hulk and all the big rides, you can get done with the park on a thursday before 11 a.m.
Then over to the studios, and yeah, hit the front of the park first, then work your way to the back, starting off with shrek and jimmy. Then mummy, jaws, mib, simpsons, et, and back around to t2 and horror make upshow.
Valet is a great option, but expensive at I think ten bucks an hour? Could be wrong. There is really no way to get too lost in the parking garage, as it all dumps out at citywalk. Use single riders, and I assume you're taking small children? Childswap is a blessing. Hope this quick run down helps.
Check the FAQ...helps more.

If your not into big coasters like the Hulk or Dueling Dragons then I would go to the studios first.MIB,Mummy,Simpsons can get pretty long lines.
Spidy at IOA has A single rider line,JP I dont think they do.But it will be the longest wate of the day if you go this rout.
So between my post and yaytez, you can pretty much get what you want depending on what your willing to ride!!

Thank you to yaytezIOA & donaldduck352 for your detail advice. We are two adults and only planning on doing those five rides so I think we'll try the Studios first especially with the info about single rider for Spiderman.

There is also a single rider option for the Mummy. You would have to double back to go from Simpsons, past MIB to the Mummy then back to MIB. I would do Simpsons-MIB-Mummy or start with the Mummy, order doesn't really matter if you get there early

Another thing to keep in mind if you get there early is that they often times open early but they don't open every ride. So if they open at 8:30am and you try to go to the Mummy they will stop you and tell you to go to Jimmy Neutron. So if you do get there early and they open the gates ask which rides are open, that will influence your decisions right away.

As for Valet parking that just gets you closer for more money. All the parking areas are well marked and very easy to find so if you don't mind the walk the Valet parking won't make it any easier to find your way around. Hint: if you have a digital camera or a camera phone take a picture of the column where you are parked (ET 213, Spiderman 311, etc, there are pictures and numbers everywhere) to help jog your memory in case you forget later on in the day.

If you do the Studios first,as you enter the park hang A right. This will bring you to Simpsons,do hit this early. Then MIB is just past this. After that see what the crowd level is cuase you can back track and catch the Horror Make Up show-always a great fuuuny show. Then you can cut thru by Mels Drive In and hit the Mummy.Mummy does have A single riders line as well as MIB.Hope this helps.
