i'm not sure if i can do the monday, i'll have to have a look and see if i can move plans around a bit, tuesday is good for me but i know you're all off to MNSSHP, so thats probably not the best option, maybe sunday or even better wednesday before jellyrolls would be betterfor me, but monday's all goood for you, i might just have to miss out on this one.

Wednesday won't work for me, I have to transport people (Tim & DSis) to and from the airport, and make an apperance at the "evening event" at my conference. But, whatever, if we can't do 'Ohanas, no big deal. :)

Here is one of my favorite things to look at lately:

And after today, there are only 12 of those ships leaving on a Thursday before we are on it!! Yay!! :cutie:

I have heard of Winter Garden! You can see the fireworks from your street?? Maybe we will have to add Winter Garden to our list!!! :goodvibes

Hehe...yes! And our neighborhood is a new development and they're building a ton of new homes. I think that we must be on a slight incline or something because you can see Wishes every night no matter where you are in our neighborhood or in the Winter Garden Village shopping center (which is less than a mile from here). There's many nights that I drive home from the local library and see almost the full show of Wishes straight in front of me. And then there's the nights where we go to Downtown Disney and take the 429 home (which lets off in front of the shopping center near our house) and we have a perfectly huge and clear view of the whole show. There's hardly any cars on there at night, so it's really neat to see!

I am sooooooooooooooooo jealous, Steph!! First, I am jealous that you live in FL -- I completely and totally detest winter. Second, I am super jealous that you see wishes from by your house!! I have been trying for a few years to talk DH into moving there, not JUST because I love Disney, but just because I love FL in general. He says it is too hot...which, okay, it's hot. But, it gets hot here too (ex. the heat index here yesterday was like 106) and it NEVER gets to 20 below in FL -- it was that cold for a couple of weeks straight here last winter. So finally, since the real estate market in FL is not great and you can get a much better house there for much less money than in Chicago -- he has decided that we should move. Yay!!:banana::banana::banana:

My Aunt has a place on Anna Maria Island, have you been there? It's awesome, so pretty!! I spend a couple of weeks there every winter. But I really want to be in more central FL because hurricanes kind of scare me. But so do tornados, and we get way more of those here!! LOL!! Sorry for blabbing on and on about my fascination with moving to FL!!

Monday works for me. That was the night Joe and I were trying to get a reservation. All I would have to do is cancel my ADR at WCC. I'll leave it for now until I know it's definite. Karen, what are your plans for that night?

Mary - Joe and I love margaritas! Him especially. :)

Just to update, things are better between us. Still a little strained but we had a long talk about things and hopefully we can get things back on track. We'll definitely be on that ship though! ;)

Jen -- i'm glad things are going better between the two of you. Fightin is no fun!! And i'm glad you will be on the ship -- it just wouldn't be the same without you!!

My margarita are yummy!! Actually they are my BIL's recipe. They are this funky blue green color, i'm thinking of trying it this friday before the NKOTB concert with pink lemonade instead of yellow to see if they come out purple!!

We never got the email yesterday, so i'm glad I didn't wait around for it since I felt crummy. I got chocolate cake from Portillo's (those of you not from IL probably have not idea what that is. But they have the best ever chocolate cake!!), and I couldn't even eat it!! :scared1: But I went home and slept a few hours and felt much better. I've been up really late studying for the CPA lately, and I think it just took its toll. :upsidedow

I'm glad I'm going too! I would have been really bummed if I didn't get to go and meet all of you.

You're going to see NKOTB tomorrow??? Or next Friday?

How is the studying going?

yay for jenny and joe definately coming!! i was getting worried if you'd end up coming or not. especially after all the planning you've put into it.

i've just had a look on the online ADRs and the earliest reservation i could find for ohanas for any night around that timeframe is 8.30-9pm, part of me still worries that its still too late, when we ate there last year it still took them about 25 minutes from when we checked in to when we sat down. just worried that its going to be too late for everyone for dinner.

i'm looking forward to 5pm tomorrow, its not that i've had a bad week, far from it, but its been really nice weather here the last few days and i'm looking forward to enjoying the weather, and a lie in too!! lol, i'm still really tired from last weekend :)

really looking forward to the cruise, although with all this talk of coronas, funky blue margaritas, and goombay smashes, i'm not sure of how much of it we'll remember :drinking1

It's no problem! I'm a native Floridian, so I'm always happy to talk about it :)

We have tornadoes here as well, but we've been blessed to not have any touch down in this area.

I haven't heard of Anna Maria Island, where is that?

Our neighborhood is pretty decently priced. Not sure what you're looking for, but they're building all 2 stories now in here for (I believe) $220k. But heck, there's one three houses up the street from us that is for rent right now...you could do that, too!

In 91 days, this will be us sailing by the Two Palms Cam!

(btw these are old....but I just found them on the computer):

I love watching the Magic & Wonder sail!! I won't be able to today though, I have a concert in Indiana. It's outside and it's going to be HOT there!! Anna Maria Island is by Sarasota/Bradenton. It's a small island, and it's connected to Siesta Key. It's probably about 1 1/2 hours from where you are, or less. You should check it out -- one side of the island is the gulf, the other is the bay. They have really good restaurants there too.

Karen, the only thing I could find was at 8:20 for 8 -- I booked it for Monday, but I can change it. Someone could probably get there a little early and check in, that way it wouldn't be too far back. I'll keep my eyes open for something earlier though, you never know.

Jen, NKOTB is tomorrow!! I'm so excited! It's supposed to be in the 90s tomorrow, so we will have to get there early to get a seat in the front section of lawn that is kind of shaded by the pavillion. We might try and upgrade when we get there, they sell the empty seats pretty cheap. Although my seat was cheap to begin with!!

We're going to be at AK on Monday so if you want us to go early, around 8 to check in, that would be no problem. I'm sure Lainey wouldn't mind either being that it's right in their hotel! ;)

Mary, you are going to have SO much fun. They do upgrades at our venues too, I think it's only about $10 to get a seat. You should do that so you don't have to deal with the lawn! Let me know what you thought about the show.

I'm going to see No Doubt tomorrow. It was a last minute thing. That should be fun, I like a lot of their songs.

So, when we're on the boat which way do we have to face to wave to these cameras? :rotfl:

ooh, no doubt sounds cool, is it with gwen stefani or without? either way its still cool!!

exactly 13 weeks to go!!!!!! this time in 91 days we'll be sat on deck 10 before the safety drill!!!

It's with Gwen Stefani. I've always liked her so I'm happy that we're going. :)

I can't believe the trip is so close! Aren't you going to Spain soon? lol

No Doubt does sound fun!! They are actually playing by my house also, but i'm seeing enough concerts, so I have to cut myself off. I'm seeing NKOTB, and then Rascal Flatts (which was expensive) and then Britney Spears in September.

Don't laugh, but my MIL & I have figured out where we should stand so that she can turn on the webcam and we can wave at some point. LOL!! I'm not sure she is technologically advanced enough to master the webcam on her own though.........:rotfl:

a few weeks ago there was a london underground train strike, so pretty much the whole of london kinda comes to a standstill. they were giving away britney tickets that day for free, i'm guessing the show didnt sell out as planned.......

5 concerts in 3 weeks??!!!! to be honest i've never actually been to a concert before. i'd love to go see muse but gary's not too into them so he wont go with me.

yeah i'm off to spain in 16 days!!! mum told me they've opened a bar at the end of the road with internet access so i'll pop on during the week and catch up, i get dis withdrawl if i cant get on the net :rotfl:

LOL!!!! :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I have seen Britney before. Her concerts are AWESOME!! I don't care what anyone says about her, she is an amazing performer -- I can't imagine how totally in shape she has to be to dance like that for so long almost every day!! Circus was here earlier this year, but I didn't get a ticket...then when I wanted to, there were none left. So now, since she is coming back, I got mine!! Yay!!

I'm off to my concert now. I have to drive home, and then pick up one of the other flute players who doesn't like to drive, and then head off to IN. Hopefully traffic isn't too bad. Cross your fingers for me!! :headache:
