9/24/09 3 Day Wonder - Cruise Meets, and FEs, and Goombays oh my!

I am hoping that my DH doesn't get seasick as well. I bought some WalDram (Walgreen's generic dramamine, I work at their corporate office and I got it super cheap at our sample store), so hopefully I will be prepared!! It would NOT be fun to spend our cruise with either him or I seasick.

It is almost time for lunch!! This other girl and I go to Friday's about once a week now, because they have a super good coupon -- buy one entree, get the second for $1!! It is cheaper than eating in our cafeteria!! And better, lol

Karen, you will have to let us know for sure how goes the free dining and the booking of the cruise!! Good luck

We are gonna have so much fun i am hoping that my DFi doesn't get sea sick he has been deep sea fishing so i hope that he wont that wouldn't be a good way to spend out honeymoon. BTW just to let our new comer know my name is Lainey and i will be sailing with my soon to be DH Greg this will be his first cruise and my 4th cruise and my second one with disney. Jen you have to get your seating changed oh and i told my DFi if we all are able to sit together he is not to say your name like Forest Gump!!

It's ok if he does Lainey! It won't be the first time I've heard it. Trust me, I'm used to it. I'm going to wait to hear from Karen until I switch my dining time. I want to make sure she definitely has second seating so we can all sit together. If she ends up with first, I'll stay in and she'll have someone to sit with!

sorry for the delay in getting on here but was at work til 5 (12pm EST) and was spending too much time on the net at work as it was waiting for the free dining to come out (oops.......) that i thought it wasnt a good idea to dis too!
but i got 12 nights at All Star Music including one day passes (dont need these as we've got annual passes but had to buy them to get the dining) for 2 of us for $1273.98
there are NO WORDS for how happy I am at the mo!!!!!
and this also means that:
I GET TO COME ON THE CRUISE!!!!
i havent booked it yet as we're going to book a cat 12 and there arent any available at the mo, but will book one as soon as it becomes available! at the very worst i'll book a cat 11 but if i can save $200 i'll wait!
gotta book the flights in a mo (and at some point cook dinner, but hey that can wait, gotta get my priorities right!!) but we're coming to florida!!

ps: i managed to book it at 5.30am EST, shhh! i'd been religiously hitting refresh on my computer since 4am EST this morning!

well if yall do end up having first seating i guess me and Mary can get our reservations liked however it would still be really neat to have all 8 of us sitting at the same table. I hope that happens it would mek the crusie that much more fun. I know you prob. get that alot but he is begining to get on my nerves with it especially if i slip up and say Jenny instead of Jen when i am talking about the boards he will constantly say it

Okay well, the search function on the Dis is disfunctional right now. Here is what I found on the DCL site:

I'll be traveling with friends and/or family, but we'll be booking separately. How do I coordinate my entire travel party?

Coordinating is easy; if you're sailing with friends and family, we'll link your reservations together and do our best to help you. When you're booking online, you can select "Multiple Staterooms" to book more than one stateroom. If you've already booked your cruises under separate reservations, you'll need to call our reservations desk at (800) 951-3532 and we'll help coordinate your travel party details. (Note: At this time, we cannot link existing reservations online.)

So, I guess we just have to call when we decide. I wonder when we should do it, does it have to wait until after all of our shore excursions and the like are booked? Hmmmmmmmmm.....something to think about!

I would think the sooner, the better! We all have to do this, correct? I think we should PM each other with our reservation numbers. I'm going to call DCL in a little while and switch my dinner seating!

We will not leave you out, we all have to be together so that we don't get stuck with party pooper people. Here is my email address incase i don't get a chance to check the board and know when we are gonna call and link our reservations daphnie1985@comcast.net I check it everyday and since i occasionally have trouble with the dis website i know that if you email me i will most def get it since the boards apparently have occasional problems with me. Just let me know what to do and let me know when i need to do it. I am looking forward to seeing all of yall this september.

The only question I have about linking reservations is, once one person does it, is it all set? Or do we all have to call?

i called disney last night and they said if we just call up and link them, it means we can all sit together, but it wont affect our reservations in any way, ie: we can all still book our own excursions etc. i think only one of us has to do it.

yay, managed to get back on the boards, (at work though, shhh )
