Sounds like you had a great day out! I didn't do much this weekend after New Years. I was a complete bum on Saturday and watched hockey and yesterday I cleaned, did laundry, and played video games lol.

that sounds like a pretty good way to spend the day to me!
its supposed to snow again here tonight, the forecasts say 16 inches of snow in some places, but i dont really believe them, where we live, it hardly ever snows

We got that much snow here a few weeks ago. We should swap locations one winter. You can have all the snow you want! I hate it.

i'm hoping it melts quickly at the mo, as gary drove down to gloucester yesterday for a meeting he was supposed to have today. apparently he hasnt crashed the car but he's come off the road, and he's had to abandon the car til it melts as the police pick up truck couldnt drag him out.
they gave him a lift to his hotel and he's having to stay there for a few days til it starts to melt, and he's going to try and get hold of a farmer to drag him out. at least he's safe and warm in the hotel but bit worried about him being standed in the middle of nowhere.

It's supposed to snow here tomorrow. Ugh.

the recovery truck was supposed to be picking him up from his hotel at 9 and trying to get his car out, i havent heard anything yet but i'm hoping they manage to drag it out.

its been snowing on and off for a few days here, its starting to ice up which made driving to work last night interesting! hows it there?
bet you cant wait to get to orlando next month, hope it gets warmer by then, its been really cold down there too at the mo, one of our CMs is down there at the mo, apparently they keep closing blizzard beach because its too cold. thats the last thing you want when you're going to orlando, you at least expect it to be warm!

We didn't get too much snow here today. It was very light and the roads are fine but it was still enough to cover my car. I'm getting sick of looking at snow. I can't wait to be down in Florida. I hope it's at least in the 70s!!!

i've gotta go pick gary up from the train station in about ten minutes, they couldnt get his car out so he's just had to leave it down there. he'll try and get it in a week or so.
hows it there with the weather? i've heard that its dropping to freezing over night in orlando too, thats the one place you'd expect it to be warm!
how's work going? are you getting more bookings because of the cold weather and people wanting to escape it, or are you quiet?

Sorry to hear about Gary's car! That would drive me crazy.

We were busy in the beginning of the week but yesterday and today have been pretty quiet.

I hope Orlando warms up by the time I get there!

Hey girls! U haven't been around in a while. Karen, that sucks about Garys car! I hope he gets it out okay.

I'm sooooooo sick of winter too, Jen. It is about 2 degrees outside and we have almost a foot of snow on the ground! 25 days until Disney and visiting my Dad in FL though, I hope it warms up there by then! I also for to book my work trip to California the other day, I'm super excited to get to see Disneyland!

Mary, you're going to FL again?? Lucky!!! I can't wait to be there. I'm hoping for 70 degree, sunny weather! Jealous of your trip to Cali! I really want to go to Disneyland, just to compare and see where it all started!

i've been to DL, DLP and WDW and as cool as DL was, being the original one and all that, it just cant hold its own against WDW. disney world is just sooooo much bigger with more things to do. maybe eventually we might end up going to hong kong DL and tokyo DL.....
yay for you being close to new york, i'll deffo let you know if we do book, where's a good place to look for a hotel? any better areas to aim for?

There are hotels ALL OVER Manhattan. Any location is really a good one because everything is so accessible but if you really want to be in the middle of everything, try for midtown near Madison Square Garden or Times Square. Anywhere in the theater district is good too. Just a word to the wise, NYC hotels can be CRAZY expensive!!!

Karen sorry about Garys car all we really got down here was Ice which we are use to but it is irritating and alot of people got into wrecks the only problem greg and i had was that our hot water quit working and the battery in my car died.
I wish we could go back to fla soon but we are gonna have to wait til next year. Sorry i havent been on in a while i have become addicted to the Wii its fun. So how is everyone doing and how are yalls new years looking?

Well if yall cant tell by my new banner we finally booked our cruise on the dream we had to settle for the shorter cruise and we are gonna book the land part later this year but we are gonna be on deck 10 i have never stayed that high up on a ship 7 was the highest and we are on the back of the ship like you and tim were mary.

gary managed to get back last week, but he had to get the train back. his car is still somewhere in gloucestershire..... the company managed to get him a rental so he's at least able to get to and from work.
been busy the last couple of weeks, pulling overtime at disney, and have just been really tired all the time. think they're trying to train me up to do stuff, as i'm getting shwon how to cash out tonight, and i'm doing stocktake next month. all busy, but got a day off tomorrow (in theory), so going to chill out for the day!
new year so far has been relatively quiet, nothing much to report really...
