I didn't see a thread for this 4-night yet, so I thought I'd start one. This is a special one for my family...

Me (29) and DF (27)

Mom and Dad - Dad was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's in addition to his Parkinson's. He LOVES Disney but WDW is a bit too strenuous for him at this point, so a cruise it is! He was in the Navy and loves the ocean, but neither he nor Mom have ever been on a cruise.

He is having a problem with it. But we booked the 10/4/08 Magic almost 2 years ago with fellow DIS friends we met on the Magic in 2004. Unfortunately, he doesn't get a lot of time off work. I keep bugging him about it and maybe he'll go. He realizes that he will miss the kids and seeing the fun they'll have on the Wonder.

Hi, I'll actually be getting married on this cruise so i'll be there along with my future husband and atleast some of our family. We aren't quite sure yet who all will be following, but definatly my parents and his mom as well as his little sister her boyfriend and their baby. It's great to hear from some other people who are planning on going on the same cruise.

How exciting! Are you getting married on the ship or on Castaway Cay? Have you ever been on DCL before? Do you have any of your wedding details planned out yet??

we're getting married onboard have a few details planned like i have my dress picked out but not ordered. I'll be flying home to my parents on saturday and will be home for two weeks so we'll be doing a lot of the planning then(my fiance and i live in Sweden). I've never been on a cruise of any type before so this will be a total new experience for me. I'm a little nervous to say the least, not to mention my mom has a tendency to get motion sickness, so i'm a little worried about that with us going in sept. I'm really excited though and really looking forward to it.

We are going on this trip as well, and like you Jan, I will not be traveling with my husband. This is a grandma, daughter (me 38) and grandaughter trip. Our daughter will be 4 on this trip. This is our first disney cruise.

We did! Our cruise was a surprise double dip - we went to Castaway Cay twice and the brunch was on what was supposed to be our sea day. It was nice to be able to sit by the window and look out at Castaway Cay during brunch.

The brunch was absolutely fantastic. I'm going to try to get a reservation again for our group for this cruise.

We did dinner too, which was awesome. I think the meal might have been better at brunch - just for the sheer selection - but dinner was a more romantic atmosphere.

Are you planning on it?

Oh yeah!! I'm wating for my 75 day mark to book brunch!! Don't know about dinner....wanting to hit the main rests. I understand they double one rest. for a 4 nighter. How do you know which one? I would consider Palo instead a double. Just don't want to pick a night and miss one!!

So, on the four night, the second and third night LOCATION is duplicated. The second night is that restaurant's regular menu, and on the third night you go to the same restaurant but all three have the same Pirate night menu. My fiance and I didn't want to miss Pirate night, and wanted to experience all three unique locations, so we planned Palo for night #2 and ended up missing the Parrot Cay normal menu. Palo was worth that!
