The people we rented points from for our upcoming trip just bought last year. They didn't want to pass it up, but didn't want to go back this year.

What a fantastic start! Soarin' and a near-empty World Showcase... I think I'm going to try to do the same thing and get to WS just as it opens. F&W will still be going on...

I'm sorry Snow White wasn't sweet, I was remembering that kiss from last year, but it does look like you met up with some great princesses after dinner. Em looks like she really is warming up to them!
It was just the icing to realize I had trusted a five year old... stupid me. Plus we had not planned to drag that stroller that consumes one person, but that morning it was an easy monorail ride
There is a lost and found, by the TTC... that is where the stuff goes, you call and they take a look....
All the pictures of the girls with the Princesses are so sweet! They are just beaming.

And then the missing Ziploc Bag. Ugh. Not a good way to end a night...wet, tired and frustrated.
I am happy to hear CSR comped you for the room though, at least they tried to make up for it instead of just making excuses about the rain. I hope you got the bag back....
They comped half the room cost, which I feel was totally fine. I did not call for the money I called because that is terrible service. When the bellman came he said they only had two guys that night, so they were super busy, and I did feel bad for him. However missing delivering one bag and then having a soaked bag erased my sympathy.
The bag had clearly
sat in water, it was a thicker luggage bag, and the bag itself was not soaked, it had dried almost out... The Veras were pretty wet, (2 duffles) but luckily they had stuff that did not stay wet in them. The floor in our room took a night to dry out from where he put a wet bag though...
OH my that was not the best start to CSR I agree!!
Given that they were trying to make the best of the situation with you and the move for CSR to Contemorary in the first place, you'd think they would have been a bit more hospitable.... they clearly let your luggage sit in the rain. That is unacceptable! I do hope they gave you some compensation.
I also truly hope your bag with the mugs and such shows up!!!
But as with every vacation everywhere, sometimes there are ups and downs -- hopefully this is the only "down" moment ?!?
I know now that if they move your stuff they won't put the stuff in the room unless you are there/checked in .... but I personally feel since we moved to help them that step should have been skipped.
This was a down moment... one where the reservations about taking an infant came out... and any that you might have....

I love the characters in WS, I think they cannot be beat! I just wish they would have been outside for pics. Luckily the rain did cool it down a lot, which was nice.
You had such great luck seeing characters: Snow White, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins, Alice, and the Pooh Gang! Can't wait to see the Photopass pictures!
I am so glad you loved Tutto Italia! We used the restrooms in there one day and I just fell in love with the decor -- now I want to eat there!
How horrible about CSR and your bags! You would think bell services would have enough sense to not leave your stuff out in the rain!

What a great EPCOT day with a ton of great character interaction, but a not so great ending!!!
Really her entire suitcase was soaked?? I'm so glad you were able to get them to credit your room back some of that!!
And oh no to the lost bag, that is never a good feeling! I'm constantly making sure I haven't left something behind and checking things at Disney so I know that would have driven me crazy!
Every shirt but the one she wore to AK. Know too she did not have anything that leaked or anything but shirts in there. We were just so thankful that nothing bled or anything terrible like that.
I had those same thoughts after a horrible series of events in November. I think they happen to everyone who is traveling with more than one child at some point. I could feel your stress trying to load up on the bus because we felt the same way in November and we had one child less than you. Those big strollers are so hard to unload/carry/hang onto on the buses. I'm sorry you lost your ziploc bag too. I hope tomorrow is a better day.
