Beach Club is fun for movies too, you get to sit in beach chairs, down on the beach..........Wouldn't Luke have fun in that sand.........
Plus the Boardwalk is sooo much fun at night with the performers out on walk!

I accomplished nothing trip wise today... and this week is crazy!

NINE DAYS!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeee! That is so very exciting!!

I never made it to see Up this week. I am hoping next weekend sometime.

I think you are very right about Donald's Boat Ride being a big hit with Henry. I can already hear him saying "Dut dut!" Possibly by December he will have discovered the letter k however.

That is a good idea about doing the movie to associate it with. I think Henry seeing Playhouse Disney more between our November and January trips really made a difference in how much he enjoyed it.


Glad you were able to get things sorted and dealt with for the trip. It's always so much work, but fun to do at the same time.

TSM - so much fun!!!!!! It has an amazing queue too!

I am excited for TSM... except keeping us all together if we all ride it first thing.

My closet is better... our room, not so much. I think I will pack there, which means it will be trashed. I need to get the tub of Disney goodies out of the basement then too.

Today we made it to see UP!

First of all we did not see it in 3D, DH and I where worried that we might have issues with the glasses and the girls for that long. As much as it would have been neat, I am not thinking Emily would have liked to wear glasses for that long.

Secondly I loved it. Funny, sad and a good story. DH enjoyed it a lot too, no grief from him, and Hannah is already asking if we can get it on DVD. She liked it, did not get all of it, and Emily sat great through it, but I am not sure if she would say she liked it. I think she was not sure what to think of the big theater, and asked if it could be paused at one point...

Somehow the day got away from me, and I think this week might too!

4 days with students, 5 days of work total, with Friday being a full day versus my normal half days(especially since we will be packing up Friday will be long)

My two "free" mornings I am doing babysitting at VBS, so those days are super busy. Just Em will go with me, my mom will keep Luke!

A softball game tomorrow and Friday!

I feel like I have everything we need, and will start to pull and pack sometime, probably midweek. I am a bit nervous about separating the stuff between our luggage to fly and my parents, especially since my parents are not arriving until the Wednesday night, and we are not 100% sure we will see them that night, it might be Thursday before we head to AK! I am trying to figure out if I can "pack" my park bag ready for Thursday and have them transport it, or is that crazy?

I think this week will be some ramblings... I need to get some input and ideas...

Hey Laura!!!! So glad you guys enjoyed UP! We loved it too!!!! I'm sorry I missed out on the Single Digit Dancing.....computer broke at SUCH a bad time!!!! But I am back up and running now!!!

Make a list of everything you will NEED until the latest you think you will see your parents. Make sure ALL of that is with you. Then look at your stuff/stash and decide (if you have room) if there is anything else that is not necessary, but might be useful to have before then as well. Pack that stuff with you according to availability in luggage, and then pack everything else up to be sent with your parents. Start making as many lists on any topic that is running through your mind, and by the time the trip is here, everything will be all worked out!!! 8 DAYS!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!

Today we are looking forward to Mickey's Philharmagic! This seemingly is a favorite of everyone on our trip. I bet we visit a few times!

Today my piles started to get organized:

All the clothing piles are small so far. I am just pulling princess shirts out at this point... I won't do major packing via zip lock bags until the weekend!

Bags (two different size Vera Bradley backpacks, my sleeping beauty Tote, two Vera Bradley Duffles.... I know this is a crazy pile)

In our dining room:

Our park bag stuff - I would like to pack this stuff together. I think it would make my life easier if this bag of stuff was ready. I have a feeling it will be packed and labeled in zip locks closer to the time.

This downstairs stuff is mostly purchases, travel size things. There will be no clothing downstairs.

Some big zip lock bags the jumbo size.

I also need some carry on sunscreen!


On the school front. I finally know where I am moving. So let the packing begin---- got to find some boxes!

Laura, I think the piles, no the labeled with precision piles, are so funny. There is a method to the madness of packing for everyone!!! I love it!
