9/11/01 timeline and a list of all the people who were murdered that day

Thanks, charlie,nj. Someone or some group put fresh American flags up on all the Rte. 66 overpasses here in VA. As I drove past them this morning, I kept glancing at my dashboard clock, remembering each awful event of that day.

It was rough this morning.

6:00 am: President Bush awakes at the Colony, a tennis resort in Longboat Key, Fla.

6:00 am: Primary Day election polls for mayor and other positions open in New York. Mayor Giuliani cannot run again, owing to term limits.

8:00 am: American Airlines Flight 11 leaves Logan Airport in Boston bound for Los Angeles with 81 passengers and 11 crewmembers.

Did you read the post in another 9-11 thread by a mother (nealymouse) who spoke of going through airport security at the same time as some of the hijackers?

"9:30 that night. My 12 yr old DD told me who was responsible for the attack but of course I did not believe her. She had been trying to tell us all day but with the passing of my neice and the towers falling I just could not listen to what she had to say. She had a complete meltdown and wanted to know why her Mother and Father would not listen to her. We listened and we cried. Then called the FBI

She did know. She could ID him, she knew the airport attendent who let this guy go threw the x-ray machine after beeping it several times. My DD has nightmares to this day of this woman saying "OH just go"after using the wand and have it beep over and over again. "Oh just go"
