Hi everyone! Finally got the official email from the TA... (double posting from the transatlantic thread)

Johanna (renegade7) and I decided to be roommates for this cruise and the repo to Port Canaveral so if we can both find a way to swing the $$ over the next 2 years then we'll get to take command of the RBD for 24 nights this time instead of just 15!

We're in 5022 on the Med and 2631 on the TA - wish we could have been in the same room, but I'll take 1 SPH over none. AND we got the best rate of anyone for the 10-day Med:


Bet nobody else got this kind of great rate from their agent! Don't I wish it was true!!

Okay, so now that the "day of booking" saga is over, maybe I can get back to job hunting tomorrow...

I would have thought by now this cruise would have more people checking in ....

This could mean some discount rates coming our way as we draw closer

yes you could see some really good rates for this cruise. being its in september. the only reason i booked this cruise with other people here is because they are staying for the repo. if i wasnt going on the repo i would of booked in may.

There seems to be a few of us doing the B2B - but noone is really posting on this thread. We're all on the WBTA thread where there is alot more action! Come on over there and then go to the website and put yours and Melody's info into the rollcall!

How are you?? Yup - we'll be sailing together again on both!! But, this sure is a sloooow thread and not too many joining in. I don't know if its not selling or just not to any Dis'ers!
Are you planning on DCL excursions or on researching and doing your own? I'm leaning towards my own.
With so many ports to expore I doubt if we'll be doing too much on board (shows, etc). However, w/the TA - there should be lots of time to get together -Palo brunches/Teas/Tastings/shows/RDB!! And for my DH - Pirate Night!!

Sorry I missed you when you were out here - I hoped to at least go wine tasting w/everyone. Family obligations interferred. I hope you had FUN!! San Francisco is my home town and I had wanted to show her off to you!!

I know, I'm so sorry you didn't get to come with us. Not that Monica and Johanna didn't do a fine job of introducing me to Napa, but always the more, the merrier, right?

I loved San Francisco and I'm really hoping to get back out there to visit whenever I can. But I really do have to get a job first. And then start paying for these B2B cruises that we booked. Aigh! Are we crazy? Seems like we're going to have a fun little crew to stay on for 24 nights!! The cruise staff really won't know what to do with us after that long.

And let's just hope that the WBTA thread doesn't pick up too much - I can keep up with this pace somewhat. I couldn't keep up with the PC thread at all. And once I get a job I can't stay glued to the computer all the time anymore. We'll see, it's going to be a long 2 years...

Hi we are also going B2B ten day med and the wbta along with another couple that are close friends and our neighbors, we're not taking any kids this time. This will be strictly for adults. We both have our staterooms and will stay in the same room for both cruises. We can't wait.
