hope everybody gets what they want tomorrow. these 2 cruises shouldnt book that fast. the 24 night cruise will be really nice. booking one with points one with cash. still havent made up my mind which one with points which one with cash probaly be a game time decision.

I checked out the ports and Wow!! I was a History major in college and I need to experience these places!! Dh is also jazzed - so - fingers crossed that at 5 am tomorrow DCL website doesn't crash and booking is smooth!
(memories of Jan 31, 2007 w/EB PC come to mind!!)

Booked room 5522 for the Med but couldn't get it for the TA...right now we are in a cat 9 room 2112 for the TA....So excited..my second cruise...joining this one at the beginning so I can be in on all the planning and fun... Joined the PC EB Repo cruise in May of 08 so had a lot of catching up to do... "Thanks, Cheryl...you are so wonderful"

Well we got our booking info from our TA! We got a Cat 7, stateroom #6140, for both the last Med cruise and the WB crossing. As expected the Med was about 80% more expensive than the repo....BUT the total of the two together still ended up being less than we'd anticipated (probably helped out by the fact we got 10% off each because we had 2 sets of dummy dates to move).

I will send in our roll-call information soon, too. The only snag will be the fact that we are seriously considering looking into switching out of our Cat. 7 and into a Cat.6 if the price isn't too crazy.

Let's hope so!! Jason, my DP/DH has already started complaining about how much more expensive this trip is compared to the TransAtlantice (which is, in our mind anyway, the better of the 2 trips anyway!!).

Anyhow...I thought I'd also post that our travel agent was able to secure us Cat 6's for only a minor upcharge so we have already switched cabins. We will be in #6584.

Hi everyone! Finally got the official email from the TA... (double posting from the transatlantic thread)

Johanna (renegade7) and I decided to be roommates for this cruise and the repo to Port Canaveral so if we can both find a way to swing the $$ over the next 2 years then we'll get to take command of the RBD for 24 nights this time instead of just 15!

We're in 5022 on the Med and 2631 on the TA - wish we could have been in the same room, but I'll take 1 SPH over none. AND we got the best rate of anyone for the 10-day Med:
