8am MK open w/BOG breakfast

On July 3, MK will be opening at 8 am. We booked an 8 am BOG breakfast because we want to try it for the experience. We have 3 other MK days on our trip so getting on rides in the first hour isn't important to us. What we're wondering though, is if we will be let into the park a little before 8:00 in order to get to our reservation on time or if we'll be left to try and survive the stampede toward Fantasyland when everyone is let into the park at the same time.

Does anyone have any experience with 8:00 MK openings and having 8:00 BOG reservations?

Wondering the same thing. We are hoping to get in a little early and take pics.

I can't speak too much from experience, but from reading the boards, they'll let you in quite early, maybe even half an hour, as they recommend you arrive 15 minutes early for all ADRs.
I did the KTTK tour and I was let in more than 30 minutes early

Disney tells you to be at the dining location 10-15 minutes before your reservation, so you will need to get into the pre-opening dining line and should have no problem getting in before the masses. We have done several pre opening dining and one time we were allowed in about 50 minutes early. It was great because we were actually seated well before our reservation and were headed out the door of Tusker House as we should have been entering.
