8am breakfast reservations at MK?

I'm not sure how it is at each restaurant, but when we ate at the Plaza in January, a group checked in for their ADR just after us and they were told that they're not allowed to check in more than 15 minutes early and they were told to wait to the side until they got to that time.

Was this for a PPO meal? These meals are generally treated differently than the ADR's booked after park opening. The restaurants want to get the show on the road, so they seat as folks check in.

How does this work at CP? I have a 825 reservation. I can get into park at 8 but do I have to wait until 825 to be seated? Still worth to do if we don’t finish breakfast until 930?

We have found it depends on the CM and the other groups expected and table availability. They may make you wait until 8:10, but probably not 8:25. Be forewarned, if you want to meet all the characters, you might want to budget 90 minutes. Also, when you are seated and have ordered drinks, ask for the check to be brought with the drinks so that is out of the way.

I am hoping to get a few less crowded photos of Mainstreet that day.
I find the way early reservation (Pre Park Open) PPO. get messed up is when they (Disney) last minute switch up the Park opening time.
My Park day at MK is supposed to open at 9:00 am but I've had that change frequently in the past--there is Extra Magic Hours that evening so maybe it will stay the same.
11pm-1 am. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow,,and keep on swimming.

Good luck. They open all of Main Street all the way to the hub and castle at about 7:45 to all guests.
