8am adr with 8am park opening

I just made an 8AM ADR for The Garden Grill on a day when Epcot opens at 8. I believe I read before that they will not let me in early, because of this? Can anyone verify?

Also (and I realize this seems like a stupid question) if we aren't let into the park until 8, we will obviously be a little late to our 8AM ADR....I assume that should be ok, since I'm not actually being allowed to enter the park early enough to get there on time (or a little early as recommended)..?

Seems like silly questions, but I just want to know what to expect!

You might get admitted at about 7:45.
(I'd get to the park gates by 7:30ish.)
Regardless, you won't be counted "late" even if you don't get to the restaurant until after your scheduled time.
